@revenant_MMXX lol, try it with a toddler, a 1 year old, and a newborn on the way. A “job” is much easier.

Stay-at-home moms easily have more free time than anyone who works a full-time job and it's not even close. Kids play independently, they nap, they aren't nearly as much work as Big Mom pretends they are.

@revenant_MMXX No. Men should raise their own children. Make them quit their jobs, give up their hobbies and ambitions. They are parents too, right?

@Dr_Gingerballs Hey I was liking your posts and agreeing early on. Cheers.

@0x_Mattt Early but not wrong. The problem is that I was ignored on the way up because people were making money, and I will be ignored on the way down because people will be trying to avoid jail time and begging for bailouts.

Humans are lazy. We are creatures of convenience. It's burned into our DNA as we evolved to survive in a limited energy environment.
Just give people products that actually make their job easier and it will sell itself.
If people aren't using it, it's because it sucks.

GameStop issues Forward-Looking Statement on Acquisitions in 10-K 🚨:
"While the Company has no binding agreements for a specific transaction at this time, we are actively evaluating opportunities that could require significant capital deployment. Shareholders should understand that our strategy is now explicitly focused on leveraging our cash, flexible capital structure, and stock to acquire assets that we believe will undergo a significant re-rating under our stewardship."

@amitisinvesting I also think a lot of these companies are simply trading at insane multiples. Why is $HUBS worth ~295 time earnings, for example?

SaaS down again today is just becoming exhausting.
Why? Claude released a new tool that got 40M views in 12 hours. More automation workflows for people.
Which makes the market think more workflows will leave enterprise adoption from $CRM $NOW $ADBE and the other major players…including $MSFT which is now at its lows of the year.
Nothing Jensen can say, nothing the software companies can say, no amount of buybacks…it is all now rooted in how the algos perceive software vs AI.
Once again, if Anthropic is gonna replace every software name…that needs a TON of compute. That should means semis are up today but they aren’t. Doesn’t make sense but it is the nature of the choppiness of the market.

@jonnorris12 @ZombieTron He/She actually liked my last post so I think they were hung up on the "mandatory" portion. No harm in opposing viewpoints! Even though we're right ;)
English

@0x_Mattt @ZombieTron There really isn’t any point debating anything on here with passive aggressive accounts called ZombieTron I’m afraid Mat.

My dad fitted solar panels a few years ago. He runs his house, electric car and sells electricity back to the grid. He’s in energy surplus. If these had been mandatory on new builds 10 years ago we’d be whistling Dixie now.

You can’t afford a coal mine. You can’t afford a gas turbine. You can’t afford an oil rig. Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can. But you can afford a solar power station on your roof. Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.
English

@ZombieTron @jonnorris12 I don't agree with the "mandatory" statement but people gloss over the fact that the fossil fuel industry is heavily subsidized as well. I have a full-electric home (water heater, heat pumps, etc.) and run as a net exporter as well. 30% tax credit was key to make it worth it.

Coinbase is advertising the following highly-paid, PERM market tests for fully remote jobs in last Sunday's print version of the San Francisco Chronicle. But you won't be applying through their company website; instead you will apply through jobpostingtoday.com. This website is owned by Envoy Global, which is a global immigration firm. Their tagline is "A better way to manage global immigration."
Do you think Coinbase is giving an honest effort to find qualified Americans for these positions (a requirement for the PERM program)? Apply to these jobs if you a qualified American and find out!

English

@jonnorris12 If they are so good, they don't need to be mandatory.
The market should have picked them up as a USP.
Why enforce it, just sell it as a good idea if that's what it is.

@UnderSneege @Joe___Allen I bought a used Navigator L for this reason… not many options other than minivan or massive SUV.

@Joe___Allen Kids on the rack for an hour every day until they hit 135cm.
Even 7 seater cars often don’t have 3 isofix points, and the few that do often don’t actually fit 3 car seats in when you try.

@LeonSimons8 Man I’m making ~75 kWh this time of year off of only 28 410w panels.
