After having worked with the Lighter team for a year and a half, I've decided to take it solo once again! Funny enough, this all started from a cold DM from Manu back in 2024. correct me if I'm wrong but this seems like the largest ever single-block builder profit in ethereum history, ~$33m to titan it also may be one of the largest MEV block rewards ever on eth, a 568 ETH proposer payment which falls just behind the SVB USDC depeg (had a 692 ETH payment), 2023 sushiswap whitehat hack (689 ETH), and 2023 curve whitehat hack (584 ETH) others already commented on the original issues with the order (illiquid route + insane $155k AAVE limit price), but here's where the $50m went: - $36k to the user's cowswap order (331 AAVE) - $619k cowswap solver fee - ~$9.9m to the MEV bot that backran the 17,957 ETH -> 331 AAVE swap (backrun was 128 AAVE -> 17,959 ETH) - another ~$2.6m to the same MEV bot from backrunning the $50m USDT -> $37m WETH swap over multiple txs - ~$34.3m fee to titan from the MEV bot (includes $1.2m to lido as the block proposer) - ~$3.5m in dex swap fees + residual smaller arb txs insane payday for titan, who sent their profits to coinbase, and this single MEV bot took the majority of the arbs in both the illiquid AAVE/WETH pool and the $13m slippage swap in the main USDT/WETH pool

Life update- Leaving for japan on 15th I will be living there with my gf. Super excited also nervous. But I hope my new life will be great. Also, I offramped 90% today to my new bank accounts in japan plus ibkr. I have only kept 100k on crypto for now...was keeping some stables to be ready to add btc eth sol hype on my desired price but tbh during time like this there's a high probability of losing and so u get this urge too often to make it back and it suckz badly. So had to make this decision and offramped everything, keeping just 100k to keep on betting on perps. There's no harm to onramp when there's the opportunity. But I feel much better today. Even if things goes south I will be much safer. But yeah yen usd have depreciated so much, I have lost liek 30% while holding hard cash.

With $LIT slipping below a $1bn FDV, it's safe to say the alt perp dex point farming meta is over. Would highly recommend to stop trading inorganically for points. Incredibly hard to see Extended, Rado, Variational, Reya, Ostium etc debuting at over 25-35% of @Lighter_xyz FDV (think $250-350m ceiling). Even that might be ambitious depending on market conditions, but it lines up with Polymarket odds. I think the PA we saw with $DIME was less an indictment of Paradex and more so a wake up call of what we're likely to see more of for other perp dex TGE. Probably bearish for TreadFi too, and any other part of the industrial point farming complex. I would even bet that it's sub 50% chance that there will be a @tradexyz token within the next 2 years, possibly ever. I think most HIP3 farmers expecting a monster airdrop are likely to be very disappointed. The only liquid way to bet on HIP3 adoption specifically at this point is $KNTQ, and I'd say it's currently reasonably valued at $130m FDV. As boring and consensus as it is to reiterate, it's all pretty bullish for $HYPE . As point values plummet, which I'd estimate they all have tanked about 50-75% YTD, way less incentive to do volume elsewhere. Way less pressure on @HyperliquidX to do a huge airdrop too. In the same time the competitions' marketing budgets (notional airdrop allocation) have plummeted, $HYPE has held up. They could do a 1% supply airdrop per year and it'd exceed all their competitors market cap. Nature is healing and this silly meta is over.
