Cau, I’m Danil - Co-founder of @gobar_protocol and DeFi Analyst at @coinstructweb3 Time to reveal the person behind the nickname Trapman1. My path: At 18, I moved from Russia to the Czech Republic to get my bachelor’s degree in economics. During that time, I started working as an investment analyst in the stock market, later spending a 1.5 years at Johnson & Johnson as a financial analyst. In 2022, I discovered crypto, noticed how inefficient the space was, and how generating high APRs here was way easier than in traditional finance. So I stayed. At first, I was just growing my own capital. Later, I co-founded a game on TON blockchain, where I met my current co-founder @howeeveerr I handled BD and everything related to the launch — from listing on a launchpad, signing a market maker, and setting up incentives & airdrop systems, to marketing. We reached over 3K users at peak, but the long TON bear market eventually forced us to shut it down. After finishing my bachelor’s, I moved to the US to pursue a Master in Finance at Emory University. Around that time, I joined Coinstruct as a DeFi analyst, helping early-stage projects design their tokenomics: utility, sinks, emission models - basically, we were building flywheels before it was cool. Now, I’m fully focused on building @gobar_protocol - a tipping app for creators. We saw that most tipping products are either Web2 (charging 5–10% fees) or Web3 (stuck within one chain). Our goal is to bridge both worlds, giving creators low-fee, stablecoin-based rails and a seamless UX. With Solana moving toward the ICM narrative, this feels like the perfect moment to build and grow a community around the project. Now I live in NYC and am actively shipping.
