For 95% of what you do you won't be able to tell the difference. › When that happens the $200/month AI subscription dies. Models run on your device. No data leaves your machine. No subscription. OpenAI's business model has a clock on it. › Every investor is obsessed with the AI software layer. That's the wrong layer. The money moves to hardware, chips, and energy. Nuclear. › When labor gets commoditized the only scarce resource left is energy. Be long anything that produces it. › Peptides go way beyond GLP-1s. Individualized protocols for sleep, recovery, cognition become the new baseline for anyone serious about performance. › AI-enabled drug discovery doesn't just find new drugs. It finds disease-modifying treatments. The kind that change how long humans live. › Someone alive today reaches 150. I actually believe that. › I believe in the Fourth Turning. @ImperiumPaper Uniswap owns - the largest DEX in EVM - a wallet - a L2 The full web3 stack. All they have to do now is to connect these elements in a synergistic way. E.g. onboard users via Uni wallet directly on Unichain & enable seamless swaps L1 <-> Unichain + Base.

The problem Unichain faced was that it had no purpose to exist and also lacked any differentiation that could credibly support a future purpose. As was also noted in many private conversations, it seemed really strange that a protocol that hoards liquidity would *pay* users to fragment liquidity by moving to its L2. My personal opinion is that Unichain was a symptom of Uniswap Labs and Foundation falling prey to “March of Dimes Syndrome”. For those unaware, the March of Dimes was originally founded to raise money to cure polio. Once the polio vaccine was available, it suddenly had no reason to exist. Rather than wind down, it pivoted to focusing on preventing birth defects and improving prenatal health. Building Unichain without a clear value proposition or differentiation other than a brand name feels a lot like Labs + Foundation tried to find something to do since Uniswap v3 was already the dominant DEX in DeFi. Although, in fairness to Unichain, they were expecting Optimism’s Superchain interoperability to be online and begin with Unichain and Optimism. That never materialized. But it still wouldn’t have provided a clear reason for the chain to exist or how it was different from any other generic DeFi chain.

Precision Markets are basically tight Option Spreads. High payoff if you have identified the narrow band in which the market ends up settling Not sure if this becomes a new avenue for gambling or not

Interesting way to look at it, but it's distinctively different. With option spreads you need to define a price band, i.e. chose two strikes. In Precision Markets, you only enter a single price. The "winner band" is calculated after the fact and limited by settlement price + furthest prediction that is among the best 1 in 11 in both directions. The payout on @TopCutFinance is fixed at 10x while option spreads payouts depend on multiple factors. At the end of the day, it's not rocket science - unlike options. 🙃 Make better predictions than others and get 10x. Simple. I'd rather compare it to a skill based game than existing financial instruments.

@0xdetweiler What makes you bullish on Solana? ETH L2s can offer similar performance with better UX and have direct access to the largest capital network effect outside of BTC. Imo the consumer endgame will happen on a few, not many, ETH L2s.

I know there are a lot of folks making it a codec vs. x,y,z token. That shouldn't be the case. Send all utility tokens on solana. Better ecosystem. Solana should not just be for memecoins, utility too. Show that its not just base that can have utility runners. Send codec. Send nuit. Send cmd. Send gor. Send the icm ecosystem. Send anything that furthers utility on solana. (Im only in Codec, but i appreciate and support all utility on solana.)

I've never really enjoyed running... HOWEVER... lately I've been going for a 1-2 mile run every day out in the summer heat at midday... at like full speed as fast as I can possibly go... so that I'm just absolutely pouring sweat by the end of it... and then I jump in the pool for like 2 minutes to cool off as soon as I'm done :) Is absolute heaven man...

after a certain analytics platform leaked one of my trading wallets yday i burned it and all linked wallets from my day to day trading. instead of taking adv of copy traders, i decided to fund a new wallet and see if i still "have it". did this in less than 24hrs. 2.5x original stack. keep clicking. @bjnpck The safest "system in DeFi" is without doubt Uniswap (V2 & V3) Anything that relies on oracles can by definition not be as safe. But in the applicable category, CDP/Lending, it's one of the most reliable, only rivaled by @ajnafi imo.

Pls help me with this question. Do you perceive Liquity as the safest system in DeFi? The one where the value of your assets is preserved with the highest certainty? Yes mean better than Aave, Maker, Euler etc. No means equal or worse. Would be very helpful if you could elaborate in the comments 🙏

@AgentChud Hyperliquid is great, but unless it overtakes TradFi itself in a few years, there is no shot buying now is positive EV. It's already half as valuable as the largest American broker. lol

@TradingNiel @gabrielhaines @Polymarket As far as I know, the votes on UMA are encrypted and only revealed after everyone voted. So by default, everyone is incentivized to vote for the truth because that's the most likely voting outcome. Again, unless there are backdoor communications between whales.

@0xp0ssum @gabrielhaines @Polymarket If everyone is being honest it pays to be honest. But ironically enough if others are being dishonest you are forced to vote the same way or lose money. So it's not really that scam proof. They just assume everyone is a rational actor
