100% Redress for families affected by defective concrete blocks

Farewell to Suleiman al-Obeid, the 'Palestinian Pelé'. A talent who gave hope to countless children, even in the darkest of times.

After 25 years serving as Donegal’s Independent voice, the people have spoken. Thank you to my amazing team, my family and everyone who supported me. While this chapter closes, my commitment to our communities remains. Thank you for the privilege of serving as your TD.

Listening to @McConalogue on about the massive work he's done on redress scheme. It's painful. Now telling @GregHughes2 of @highlandradio how to do his job. Sickening. This follows on from Fine Gael telling the people of Donegal to stop whinging. Great show BTW @highlandradio Keep doing what you're doing.

Housing Minister Alan Dillon denies allegations of corruption involving @FineGael and #CRH During a recent meeting in a #Westport housing estate severely impacted by #Pyrite, Seamus Maye, founder of the International Small Business Alliance, confronted Minister @Alan_Dillon about the origins of the defective block scandal. Maye alleged that the cement, concrete, and quarrying sector—dominated and controlled by Cement Roadstone Holdings (CRH)—is responsible for the crisis. He pointed to the company's significant influence in the construction materials industry. CRH, the largest construction materials company globally, reported revenues of $34.9 billion in 2023, underscoring its extensive market reach and financial power.
