According to FDA, the abortion pill -Mifepristone has a very high safety profile & a lower mortality rate compared to the commonly used Viagra ( for erectile dysfunction).
The Risk of death from Viagra is nearly 10 times greater.

This is unconstitutional on 2 grounds. The judiciary ought to be independent to make this decision, not the executive. Secondly, it undermines the right to fair trial of the person charged with a criminal offense. A public hearing doesn’t guarantee a fair trial.
This directive is worrisome; political manufacture of consent to rile up angry masses, the executive over-extending their power over the processes of the judiciary that is supposed to act independently and impartially.
No one should buy into this narrative. This sort of power will be exercised to silence innocent Ugandans once the state realizes how easy it is to rally masses towards mob justice.

“Kidney harvesting” and C- section and 2 different procedures that require different approaches. it’s a very complex procedure that requires a whole different specialist unit of which we have 2 in Uganda that are struggling to start.
