🚨THIS IS HUGE! DEMOCRATS INTRODUCE TEN GUARANTEED PAID VACATION DAYS FOR EVERY AMERICAN WORKER Rep. Seth Magaziner has introduced the Paid Time Off Act which would guarantee at least 10 paid vacation days a year. Magaziner says what millions of Americans are feeling right now: “People are just tired and exhausted… anyone who works hard for a living deserves to be able to take time off… for any reason… you shouldn't need to get a doctor's note every time you wanna take a day off from work. In the United States of America, workers deserve more than burnout, stress and nonstop survival mode. This is transformative.

@Peter_Fitz Partner ordered a Ford Mach E Mustang. 3 week wait mainly due to window tint and ceramic paint. Goes like the clappers. 100% powered by sun. Looks way better than my sensible Kia EV5

@TimWilsonMP I have a family trust for asset protection with a company and partnership inside . I get franked distributions there. I don’t have a wage. All my trust income goes to my wife and I. We will now be taxed fully at minimum 30%. This is a war on small business

@TimWilsonMP Not much criticism has been said about Labor’s unfair changes to Family Trusts. The impacts of abolishing negative gearing on new young investors who purchase a small unit or apartment and still living with their aging parents because they cant afford to buy a home.

#BREAKING Anthony Albanese shut down most of our refineries to combat “climate change” Now the goose is about to blow $10 billion of our tax money to build another one because we’ve run out of fuel. How did this guy get to the position that he’s in?

@MadsMelbourne Albo paid $146k, I paid $77k. House prices went through the roof when the LNP introduced tax concessions for the wealthy. Facts matter sometimes. And now that the ALP want to make adjustments they are calling it a new tax - spare me the Han’s wringing.

The median house price in Australia is now $1 million. For a first home buyer that now requires a $200,000 deposit to secure a home loan. Australia isn’t experiencing a housing crisis, it’s an affordability crisis! Albanese purchased his entire first home for $146,000 and likely had a 20 years to pay it off. Less than just the deposit required today. Albanese grew up in free commission housing. He never had to stress about paying back a. HECS debt + interest and received free university education. At the time of purchasing his first home there was no compulsory 12% of your income to Super. There was no 10% GST on every purchase he made Albo was then able to create wealth through his property and was able to use CGT and Negative gearing which he now wants to abolish. And yes whilst wages have of course increased in the last 20+ years wage increase is at x 3 and property prices have increased x 14 Albanese was handed everything in life and his government are taking everything they can from people of Australia in return

The Labor Government are lying about our fuel stores. They say we have 34 days worth of fuel but the truth is we have about 25 days but not all of it is on Australian soil or secured. Now that people are stocking up on fuel these stores could last 1-2 weeks. Aussies deserve to know the truth! All Labor does is lie & gaslight Australians. This Government prioritises foreigners, criminals & terrorists over Australia’s safety & security. With WW3 breaking out, do you really trust this Government to tell you the truth & keep you safe? Labor must be removed.

Chris Bowen just admitted that we don't have any real amount of strategic fuel reserve here in Australia. Our reserves remain under the control of the USA. We no longer have the capacity to refine commercial quantities of our own fuel onshore. Because Australia is the worst place to do anything hard. Because the laws, regulations and red tape are at stupid levels. Every Australian will pay the price of decades of an incompetent and corrupt government.

@TheKouk How about making the case for Neg Gear and CGT disc only on new homes - that should increase supply and free up existing stock for home buyers not investors. Makes the tax breaks increase productivity of the asset which should be the point

Tax reform: Income tax cuts but only to those without investment properties & pay current investors to sell to first home buyers. Two ideas. In the next round of income tax cuts, how about cutting income tax or providing an annual cash supplement to those income tax payers who do NOT claim any income offset from investment properties? All of a sudden, there is a financial incentive for individuals to think twice about investing in housing. Idea 2: providE a one-off payment of, say $20,000 (although I am open to suggestion), to an investor who sells their investment dwelling to a first home buyer. youtube.com/watch?v=KZeoXw…

I’m noticing people praising the negative gearing and capital gains discount review don’t understand economics. Probably why they aren’t good investors. In simple terms… Mum and Dad investors will get squeezed by the changes. The rich will get around it. That’s why there is a class divide. #Auspol2026

@Thejimpenman Dumbest thing ever - are the homes being knocked down? More like that people are buying them to live in rather than as investment property. Investors should be encouraged to build new, not buy existing. That is how you increase productivity in the sector

I’m standing for parliament for one reason: housing. Zoning laws have doubled house prices. Young Australians are paying an extra $500,000 for the same home. That is $30,000 a year in extra mortgage pain. This is policy failure, not fate.
