Prime example of a landing page that optimizes for 'aesthetics' over conversions. You can have these fancy elements above-the-fold, but still get lapped by the guy who whips up an 'ugly' LP with principles intact. This one 0.001 CVR. The ugly LP will be converting at 3-4%. There's a lesson in there, I guess. Ugly funnels, pretty profits.

Kinda related: Inline scroll areas that cut off suck as well. Adding a scroll-driven mask to the top and bottom makes it feel much smoother

Back in February we built a custom engraving experience for a watch brand on Shopify. Type your text, see it live on the product. Engraving is an upsell, but when the product has a non-standard engraving area and the brand is premium, a basic text field does not cut it. Any line and shape. This feature is coming to the Konfigur Shopify app too.

One copy change on our shipping bar is lifting conversions every single time we test it. It's not the design. It's not the placement. It's three letters. "Free Shipping" → "Free Shipping to AU" That's it. Sounds too simple to matter. But when you think about what a customer is actually feeling on a product page, especially one they've never bought from, doubt is running in the background the whole time. Will this actually arrive here? Is this brand even shipping to my country? Will I get hit with a surprise fee at checkout? "Free Shipping" doesn't answer any of that. It's vague. Generic. Every store says it. "Free Shipping to AU" does something different. It removes the doubt before the customer even has to think about it. It tells them: yes, we know where you are, and we've got you covered. We've tested this across multiple stores now. Fashion, supplements, homewares. The result is the same every single time. The fix is a single line of Liquid that detects the customer's shipping country and swaps the copy dynamically. If you're running traffic to multiple markets and your shipping bar still says "Free Shipping", you're asking customers to fill in the blanks themselves. They won't. They'll bounce.
