The Liberal finance minister claims he recused himself in September 2025 of the $90 billion Alto project, for which his wife is the vice president. Yet here he is promoting the project in Senate testimony 6 months later. And here he is voting for it in the House of Commons. There it is in the budget he presented. And there is no recusal record on the Ethics Commissioner’s website. Nothing adds up. $90 billion is at stake. Tell the truth, Minister.

"Anne-Marie Gaudet is the partner (significant other) of Canadian Minister of Finance and former Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, François-Philippe Champagne.Regarding her professional life She works at ALTO: Anne-Marie Gaudet is the Vice President of Environment for ALTO, which is the Crown corporation responsible for developing the high-speed rail network connecting Quebec City to Toronto." - chatgpt Does this Liberal conflict of interest sh!t ever get called out by CBC or the Canadian MSM?
Martine Kerr@martinekerrdxb

@cbcwatcher Well Minister Champagne’s life partner works for Alto after all.

Canada's Manufacturing Sector is in free fall. But on April 1st, the Government raised the industrial carbon tax to $110 per tonne, 16% increase. THIS IS INSANE! Higher industrial carbon taxes raise production costs, which are ultimately passed on to Canadians through higher prices and reduced investment.

If a bartender or a waitress can be held accountable for ‘over serving’ a customer who then goes on to hurt someone while drinking & driving, why can’t Judges & Justices be held accountable for their bad rulings that end up with some innocent CDN being injured or killed by someone they let off or gave a light sentence to?

🚨 Read this carefully. Carney fast-tracked the Grays Bay road project in Nunavut. $750 million in taxpayer money. It leads to the Izok Lake mine. Who owns that mine? A Chinese state-owned company. Your taxes build the road. China mines the strategic resources from your Arctic. The same Arctic Carney says we need to defend for sovereignty. You’re paying to defend territory you’re simultaneously handing to Beijing. We are compromised.
Gabriel Hardy@Gab_Hardy

So, according to Robert Fife, Canada’s problems only started once Trump was elected. Before that, when Biden was president, everything was nice and dandy in Canada. Now let’s check with AI to see if our friend Mr. Fife is right: "Canada's economy experienced its worst performance on record in 2020 with real GDP shrinking by 5.4%. March and Q2 2020 saw the steepest monthly and quarterly declines since 1961. Additionally, 2020-2024 saw the sharpest five-year decline in GDP per capita since the Great Depression. This period is noted for the worst five-year decline in standard of living (GDP per capita) since the 1930s. During this period, Canada fell to the 3rd-lowest spot among 30 developed OECD countries, with GDP per capita falling from 80.4% of the U.S. level in 2012 to 72.3% by 2022." Now for the “coup de grâce”: Who was president of the United States of America between 2020 and 2024? Answer: Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. I’ll be very polite and will only say, Mr. Fife, you’re full of bologna. x.com/sarobertsonca/
Scott Robertson@sarobertsonca

Robert Fife: "Pierre Poilievre keeps trying to blame every job loss, inflation, everything on the Prime Minister. But Canadians know where that problem is coming from. It's south of the border, it's in the White House."

@DavidColetto Stable? I was on edge the entire time Trudeau was PM. Now I'm watching Carney getting into bed with a communist regime, and MSM is pushing the narrative that Canadians want to be part of the EU. Our country has NEVER been more unstable in my lifetime!

CBC after Harper flew to Toronto to sit in the cheap seats with his son: “Harper used jet to fly to hockey game.” TSN after Carney flew to Harvard to visit his daughter then flew back and sat in a box with the Ottawa Senators owner: “Hey isn’t Mark Carney a hockey player?”

On Easter Sunday leaving a restaurant we saw a homeless man in the pouring rain searching the garbage can across the street. I brought him our takeaway containers and some money. He immediately ate the food in the rain. He was starving. This is Ontario. It makes me so angry. 🤬

48 hours in a homeless persons life. No door that locks, no food security, no safety, and sleeping outside in the elements... You wouldn’t call them “lazy” again, you’d be begging for the same help you vote against!

The carbon tax has increased again. The industrial carbon price is now $110 per tonne, continuing its rise toward $170 by 2030. Government says it targets large emitters. But Canadians know what happens next: Costs don’t stay with corporations, they move through the economy. * Higher production costs * Higher transportation costs * Higher prices at the checkout At a time when families are already stretched, this matters. You can shift where a tax is applied. You can’t change that it’s you the consumer that ultimately pays it. torontosun.com/opinion/editor…

🚨CRASH & BURN🚨 Mark Carney’s government is pushing high-speed rail after awarding the contract to the renamed SNC-Lavalin. His minister gets pressed on collapsing support for the project… then admits they have no plan to help Canadians with gas taxes. It doesn’t go well.

@sarobertsonca Fife is out to lunch. Our economic challenges began well before trump. they are the result of more than 11 years of careless mismanagement of the government, taxes, spending and debt by the Liberals. Fife once again a Liberal apologists or just plain lazy. maybe both.
