@TheBardOfAnlaby Just getting out regularly is the main thing, I did trained for, and did the Great North Run last Sept, did a park run the following week, then went on Holiday, not run since
Hate doing it in the dark though, so the light nights are gonna get me back out

@realhansard Luke's had a shocker, but he's turned the comments off because he obviously doesn't like feedback when he tries and fails to make a point

An MOT isn’t needed for a vehicle over 40 years old.
It’s exempt.
Good to know that our MPs are clued-up on the law…

I’ve just received the dreaded email from NHS mental health services.
After months of waiting, complaints, and being promised therapy, the reality is this:
There’s no help coming.
God help anyone who is suicidal and stuck in this system, because the support people think exists simply isn’t there.
This is the reality people are facing in the uk..

@AaronBower If Giants did only get c.700 fans at home, thats approx half what Hudds Town took to Port Vale that afternoon (1355)
Always looks worse in a big stadium, but when its only about 10% full its always gonna look terrible
English

The Huddersfield crowd on Saturday was 2,736, according to the RFL (Giants didn't declare it). Considering Hull KR said they sold 2,000 tickets, means there were just a few hundred Hudds fans there. You feel something has to give soon with the Giants

@Fedupcivvy @toniwriter There's never any need to use the Daily Mirror site, other for that example!

@13rew @toniwriter If you absolutely need to use the site, clear your browser of cookies etc. straight after and before you visit any other site, so there's nothing for them to harvest

Ever since the tighter GDPR rules came into effect in the UK a few years ago, I reject cookies, reject sharing my information, untick marketing communications etc because I don't care how awkward or long it takes me to do, you're not getting more of my data than is required.

🚨 Hero at Belstone FC 🚨
Massive respect to Mitchel Swain, who stepped up when it mattered most after an official collapsed twice during the match.
Not only did Mitchel react instantly to help, but he also brought his real-life training into action, as a firefighter, his calmness and quick thinking helped save a life.
Moments like this remind us that football is about far more than the result. The non-league community always looks after its own.
👏 An incredible act of bravery. Well done, Mitchel a true hero.
Let’s give him the recognition he deserves.
