Lots of conflicting data across sentiment & positioning right now, but this caught my attention: "US-listed ETF shorts on the Prime book increased +10% yesterday: the 2nd largest 1-day increase on Goldman's record". Source: GS

@mus_toyy What if the landlords loose the money? Does the tenant possess the property?

All of it. Sounds perfect, right? Here's the catch. 한국에서 최근 전세사기 (jeon-se-sa-gi) = deposit fraud has become a serious problem. Some landlords disappear with the money or can't return it. So the government now requires 전세보증보험 (jeon-se-bo-jeung-bo-heom) = deposit insurance to protect tenants. It's a genius system — when it works. And Korea is working hard to make sure it does. 🏠

Korea has a housing system that makes foreigners' brains stop working. It's called 전세 (jeon-se). You give the landlord a massive deposit — like ₩200,000,000 to ₩300,000,000. Then you pay ZERO rent. Every month. For 2 years. (You still pay utilities and maintenance fees — but zero rent.) When you move out? You get the ENTIRE deposit back. "Wait. So you just... live there for free?" Basically, yes. The landlord invests your deposit and keeps the returns. "And you get ALL of it back?"

Put it like this. You pay into a pension that you can’t touch until you’re 67 (probably going up too). You’re then taxed when you try to claim it. Or You pay into a stocks and shares ISA that you can set up and have FULL control over - ZERO tax on ALL gains even when you withdraw. You’re able to withdraw at ANY point. No lock in. When you’re 28. 36.52. Doesn’t matter. Yours. It’s this simple. There’s nothing more to it.

I made a bet with myself in March 2025. I wanted to see if the experts were true about income funds. They told me.... If you buy an income fund like $JEPQ, you cap your upside. You’ll miss the growth. So I tracked my $JEPQ holding against a standard S&P 500 tracker $VUAG since March 25 when I made my first JEPQ purchase. The Result.... S&P 500 Growth: +17.52% JEPQ Income: +17.71% The difference? 0.19%. How is this possible? To understand the result, you have to understand the engines under the hood. 1. The S&P 500 $VUAG = Market Cap Weighted. This is a vanilla tracker. It buys the 500 biggest companies in the US, weighted by market cap size (bigger company = bigger slice). The Strategy is pure growth. If the market is up, your up. If it goes down, you go down. 2. The Tech Income $JEPQ = Nasdaq 100 + ELNs. JEPQ is smarter. It holds at least 67% of its portfolio in the Nasdaq 100 and actual stocks like Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google. The other 33% is used for Equity Linked Notes (ELNs). The ELNs strategy effectively sell call options on the index. JEPQ agrees to sell a little bit of the future upside in exchange for guaranteed cash now. And the secret is.... Reinvesting 🔄 This is why the returns are identical. JEPQ pays me that guaranteed cash every single month. I don't need the income yet,so I press one button.... Reinvest. The dividends buy more shares. Those shares pay more dividends. I have captured the market's growth, but I’ve done it with a safety valve. $VUAG can be your future in pure growth. $JEPQ can be your reality and income now. You don't have to choose. Different tools for different jobs. You just have to understand what you own.

$1,168 in options premiums. In January. So far. Selling options works. When you have a system. The rules are simple: → Sell on stocks you want to own → Pick strikes you're comfortable with → Manage risk, don't chase yield → Stay consistent No gambling. No guessing. Just premiums hitting my account every month. The key? Don't bend the rules. The moment you get greedy is the moment you get burned. System > emotion. Every time.

A lot of you have been asking how I allocate my portfolio. Quick Update... 60% Growth - $AVGO, $CAT, $LLY, $MA, $META, $TSM, $NVDA, $MSFT 25% Income - Options strategy on $HOOD, $ACHR, $TOST, $SOFI 10% Precious Metals - 60% gold, 40% silver 5% Crypto - 70% $BTC, 30% $ETH Growth builds wealth. Income pays the bills. Metals hedge chaos (or not). Crypto captures asymmetric upside. What does your allocation look like? 👇

Welcome to all the new followers. I’m Tom, 30 years old from the UK and planning to retire and live on dividends in the next 5 years or so. Currently my portfolio brings in £2500-£2700 a month and that will keep rising as I reinvest. I’ve no idea what I’m doing but if I can inspire atleast one person to start investing then my job is done. I plan to keep sharing my journey here with as many as possible and being transparent. Please share this post so we can get more people investing. Have a great weekend!

There is something special about $GOOGL as of now. While every other mega cap $META $MSFT $NVDA $AMZN $TSLA $AVGO $NFLX are below their respective 50-DSMAs, Google is just trending nicely above its 10 and 20 SMAs. Gemini 3.0 released today.

So for the first time I’m not putting money in my SIPP. I’ll miss the initial generous 40% tax break. Instead though a FIC is better for IHT now plus if you lend the money then tax free dividends received by the FIC can be paid back to you tax free as loan repayments Not advice!

I'm seeing people buy UK Government Bonds (Gilts) on the 'attraction' of high Coupon payouts. I'm not convinced by this. Remember in the Greek restructuring the Bondholders took painful 'haircuts'.....
