In a letter to the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, President Karol Nawrocki contends that Poland rejects any actions towards relocation of migrants to Poland, legal or illegal. He states that Poland rejects any supranational pact on migration that threatens the safety of Polish people and Poland's national borders. "Dear Madam President [von der Leyen], Poland will not agree to any actions by European institutions aimed at relocating illegal migrants to Poland, and I hope that you will take this fact into account in your actions", writes President Nawrocki.

Reuters reports that Ukraine has shared its drone interceptor system Sky Map with the U.S. to protect U.S. planes at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia and that Ukrainian soldiers are now on the ground in Saudi to train Americans troops on how to the use the system. Sky Map is a Ukrainian command-and-control (C2) software platform developed by the company Sky Fortress for counter-drone operations. It has seen widespread use in Ukraine’s defense against Russian drone attacks. Sky Map functions primarily as an integrated dashboard interface that fuses data from multiple sensors to give operators a real-time, unified picture of the airspace. It synthesizes inputs from various sources, including radars, acoustic sensors and other optical and electronic detection systems. A key foundation is Sky Fortress’s network of acoustic sensors (microphones, sometimes even smartphone-based), which listen for the distinctive engine or propeller sounds of low-flying drones that often evade traditional radar. Machine-learning algorithms help classify threats by sound signatures or other data. Operators see a map-based dashboard with overlaid video feeds, threat tracks, and alerts. This creates a common operating picture for identifying incoming drones, including their direction, speed and type. Once a threat is detected and verified, Sky Map enables rapid decision-making and tasking. It coordinates counter-attacks, particularly by directing cheap interceptor drones towards the incoming threat. This if often an automatic process, with a human operator only handling the final targeting. Ukraine’s experience of 4 years of high-intensity warfare operations has made it the global leader in innovative cheap, scalable counter-drone solutions that address vulnerabilities in traditional systems. 🇺🇸🇺🇦
