It’s time to build a California where our graduates can actually stay and call our state home.

I'd heard how crazy the college admissions process is, but now seeing it in reality has blown my mind. My kid has great grades (4.2 weighted) with a ton of APs, leadership ec's, a very solid athletic resume, parents paying cash, etc., all at a private college-preparatory HS, and she has basically no chance of getting into a UC or CSU for her major. Not sure what needs to be done, but this is crazy. 🙄😩

After a fantastic town hall in San Luis Obispo, it’s clear: to lead California, you have to show up for all of California. I’ve spent the past year traveling the state and listening to Californians, and together we’re going to make California an even better place to live.

Tell me if sedation dentistry on a 4 year old is something that needs to happen? I have an appointment set up for Micah on Monday. He has 3 cavities on back molars 😫 they don’t want to traumatize him and bring him in 3 times to fix them one by one (don’t think he’ll sit long enough for doing all) so anesthesia it is and get it all done at once. Of course parents can’t be in there for that, which is hard because I don’t trust anyone. I’ve been having heart palpitations and upset stomach being so nervous about it. Titus has one coming up and they want to do not sedated but give him a big relaxer and said sometimes it causes kids to thrash and they have to use VELCRO STRAPS to hold down and I also can’t be in there for that. I kinda am thinking wait until he’s older and just fix like normal? Help- I’m so stressed !! 😩 I just want to do what’s right for my kid, get the teeth fixed..

@WonderWomaNinja Young children are more susceptible to permanent damage from sedation. I would never let my child go under sedation unless it was surgery. Just look studies on sedation and kids.

If He were all powerful, he would not allow this evil to happen, especially to kids.

The leap from “evil exists” to “therefore no deity exists” just doesn’t follow.

I’m at the point where I simply want to cry about this. I’m using the toxic tar shampoo, taking expensive pro-biotics, drinking homemade bone broth on an empty stomach, putting hydrocortisone cream on it….and still it’s there. All the time. What am I supposed to do???
