So you're insisting that I must say “Tesla is always late” and never say “Elon always misses timelines.” Really? This is nonsense. You're forgetting that Elon is Tesla's public face - he's the one who personally announces nearly every aggressive deadline. Whether you call it “Tesla” or “Elon.” The distinction is cosmetic.
“Criticizing Elon to bolster your credibility” is a lazy ad hominem. You assume anyone noting the pattern is doing it cynically for clout. Nice try. It's because the pattern is well-documented.
The “I love your content but I drop off” threat - This is classic fragile-fan behavior: “I was with you until you criticized the hero.” If I talk about Tesla delays for “too long now,” maybe that's because the delays keep happening. Do you want the conversation sanitized so I never challenge the narrative that Elon is infallible on execution?
Elon himself has joked about being overly optimistic on timelines. The misses aren't conspiracy or malice; they're a consistent feature of how he operates: moonshot ambition + aggressive public deadlines as motivational tool + iterative reality. Pretending the public figure who sells the vision isn't responsible for the delivery dates is just rewriting accountability.

People love saying Tesla is always late!
@CernBasher says big technologies are usually “late” because building them at scale is much harder than just inventing them.
Sometimes the “delay” is actually part of the plan. 👀 $TSLA

In Japan, Rock, Paper, Scissors, known as janken, is taken incredibly seriously, functioning as a high-stakes decision-making tool in business, entertainment, and daily life.
There are yearly, highly competitive televised janken tournaments with official referees, costumes, and intense crowds.

How did we allow popups to become a thing?
When you flick a light switch, it doesn’t refuse to turn the light on until you’ve confirmed that, no, you don’t want to sign up for a month free LightSwitchPro.
When you press the lever on your toaster, it doesn’t inform you the toast will get hot and ask if you’re sure.
The correct interface choice is always, every single time, that the Do The Thing button should Do The Thing.
