Key point, stopped out each time for a small profit. Which makes sense because obviously you understand the timeframe you're trying to trade. There is such a lack of timeframe understanding on this platform that I often wonder how some people ever actually make a single cent in the market. If you don't understand timeframe analysis you're better off just going to the casino.

@1MDec2030 As far as strategy is concerned, I try to keep it simple. I wait for the right market condition (indexes and stock above all major MAs). I then look for technical breakout patterns that are setting up. I’ll cross reference that with gamma nodes and options flow.

When I first started trading, I didn’t know where to start. I chased furu recommendations from traders that never discussed risk. One day, I lost $10k trading options. It didn’t feel real. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t tell anyone for nearly 10yrs.

@1MDec2030 Hey @1MDec2030 My rule was always about 1-2% of my portfolio on a given trade. It’s much lower than that on most options trades now that my account has grown. If there’s a super high conviction play, I’ll risk about 2% on an options play, and up to 8% on swinging the stock.
