I’m going to believe the man who was a Chief Warrant Officer Green Beret who specialized in the Middle East, worked at a Tier 1 SMU, worked at Ground Branch, and then became the Director at the NCTC with full access to all of the intelligence. It’s FAR less likely that he was compromised and far more likely that he has a better grasp on the issue than 99.9% of people on the planet. Or yeah, he just hates the joooos and risked Espionage Act charges so the Greyzone can get a few clicks. I genuinely can’t believe we’re having this discussion.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran.
