Morpho Raises $175M at $2B Valuation in Round Led by Paradigm, a16z Crypto and Ribbit
According to Fortune, DeFi lending protocol Morpho raised $175 million in a funding round led by Paradigm, a16z Crypto and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Apollo Funds, Circle Ventures and VanEck. The deal values Morpho at roughly $2 billion and comes as the protocol expands from crypto-native markets toward institutional adoption. Morpho currently has $6.6 billion in TVL and is used by firms including Coinbase, Kraken, Anchorage Digital and Galaxy Digital.
