@FortySacks Same. I was never a hockey boy. I was never into sports in general, but I'm thinking I should have played more.

@FrLavery Very upsetting that they would run from the discourse in this way. I do think that Bp. Sanborn's hard-line stance against una cum Masses is correct, but he doesn't seem to budge on what I think are mistakes. I really wish more open debate on all these issues could happen.

Blocked by Bp. Sanborn's media outlets in spite of almost never engaging with either of these accounts. Why am I not surprised? There is something in the catechism about resisting the known truth... He and his priests have, since last summer, been promoting the claim that they neither have jurisdiction for confession given them by the Church (or any authority in the Church) nor need anyone to give it to them, since they say they have it already from Holy Orders. They say this is all they need, since the requirement for jurisdiction from the Church, according to them, is merely an ecclesiastical law like matrimonial form. They say it is merely "permission" from the Church. This totally contradicts the unanimous teaching of theologians and the decrees of Trent. Fr. Dutertre attempted to defend this error by referring to a quote from Cardinal Journet which was not from Journet at all but from a priest writing post-V2. Then he attempted to reference another theologian from about 1960 who turned out to be a total modernist with many thoroughly modernist writings, including the one Fr. Dutertre used to defend himself, which was written at the request of arch-modernist Karl Rahner! If you believe that in following the RCI clergy you are getting the epitome of sound doctrine, you are in for a rude awakening. The only qualification for sound doctrine at RCI is whether or not it agrees with the Thesis. Otherwise doctrines and definitions of terms change as necessary to support the Thesis. There is not even much carefulness about facts at RCI. Statements are made about things without taking the trouble to verify them or to give the matter the necessary study. A prime example is the criticism of the Fatima prayers which Bp. Sanborn made multiple times last year. He had almost zero research on the matter and yet was telling people he didn't think they were approved and that it is not prudent to say them in public. First he claimed you would lose the indulgences of the rosary. When I presented the reply approved personally by Pius XII in the 1950s, in which the Pope said the Fatima prayer could be added to the rosary in public and private without loss of indulgences, Bp. Sanborn acknowledged this as something "someone" came up with, then continued to argue we should not be saying it in public. Yet it was approved and indulgenced by the very same bishop who approved the apparitions of Fatima, long before Vatican 2. Various bishops in the United States and many other countries also approved it. Wouldn't it have been wise to research this before voicing such a reckless opinion? Unfortunately, this is standard mode of operation at RCI. They also criticize anyone who believes traditional clergy can make decisions in marriage cases today in the absence of diocesan tribunals. Yet, their own RCI statutes allow their priests to declare certain marriages null. One only needs to read canon law and the various decrees on marriage to see that even these marriage cases handled by Bishop Sanborn require the *judicial jurisdiction* of the bishop of the diocese and are not merely paperwork. In other words, they require ordinary jurisdiction which Bishop Sanborn certainly does not possess and which he accuses others of usurping. This has been pointed out to them, but they have repeatedly deleted the mention from their social media, and in a recent live stream they pretended it simply had to do with death certificates. That is clearly not the case, because a second marriage after death does not mean the previous marriage was null! The RCI statutes refer to "declaring" marriages "null." This is truly unconscionable behavior for a group that claims to want only the truth.

Pope Leo congratulates Female Anglican Pro-LGBT, Pro-Abortion ‘Archbishop', with “May the Holy Spirit come down upon you and make you fruitful in the Lord's service.”, while the SSPX receive threat of excommunication for wanting to consecrate Catholic Bishops. Mind blowing.

You idiots need to understand that if I ever quit, that’s a victory for the Jews. Not only is it a victory for the jews, it’s a sign that they can start canceling you people again. That all they gotta do is make some people dislike you and you’ll be silenced. Think.

A truly sad thing for a good bishop to say. If he does not hold the Thesis errors, the only theologically defensible position is that the power to elect devolves on the Church as a whole in the absence of Cardinals. The only ones who could do this today are the traditional bishops, since laity cannot. To call such an extraordinary election a "conclave" when it is not, is to further the unjust criticisms and terminology of Bp. Sanborn. To call efforts to unite all Catholic bishops in adopting a true solution "weird" is to work against the Catholic Church herself of which SGG claim to be pastors last I checked. This is very unfortunate.

He gets a loyal woman who can throw it back like crazy… Why are yall hating?
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)
