Today was a very hard day for my country lebanon. Rest in peace to our martyrs, and I hope for a fast recovery for the wounded. Our hearts are with everyone in the South, Bekaa, and Beirut. stay strong and teach your children who the real enemy is. History will remember that 100 air strikes in 10 minutes could not break lebanon spirit. Let’s Look at the Facts If we look at this from a military side: Did they win? No. Are they at the Litani River? No. Did they take the weapons? No. Today's strikes don't change the fact that over 140 of their tanks have been burned on our land. It doesn’t change the fact that they are walking into our traps and losing their soldiers. Their own military and politicians are still fighting because they know they can't actually occupy Lebanon. The pain is huge, but militarily, today changed nothing. The Resistance is still capable fighting, still launching rockets, and hitting their ships and planes. These air strikes are just about killing civilians to look "strong" and satisfy their own people. But the battlefield is the same, and the future will prove this. We also have to talk about the strange stance of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. By acting the way he did, he weakened Lebanon. Instead of showing we are one united country, he made us look divided, which hurt us politically. He basically made it harder to reach a ceasefire. It’s a shame that what we win on the ground, our politicians lose at the table.

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi affirmed that there are currently no direct talks, adding that "The Iranians have said very clearly that we are not going to accept a ceasefire where the Americans can just simply produce more missiles and repair and overhaul their jets and prepare for more slaughter." Seyed Marandi explains that the only way to end this war is a permanent agreement that changes the facts on the ground, preventing the #US from using the region as a platform "to murder Iranian school children." He noted that this principle applies not only to #Iran but also to #Gaza, #Lebanon, #Iraq, and #Yemen. @s_m_marandi #IranWar #WarOnIran

💢 Iranian academic Hassan Ahmadian pushed back sharply at Gulf state critics during a heated Al Jazeera panel, when guests from Qatar and Kuwait accused Iran of not being a “good neighbor.” “Good neighborliness does not mean allowing others to kill your children on your land,” Ahmadian, a Professor of Middle East Studies at University of Tehran replied. He pointed to over 2,000 Iranian civilian casualties and said U.S.-made surface to surface HIMARS rockets “don’t launch themselves,” saying they can only be fired when “my neighbor is giving his land to my enemy to kill my children.” He noted the U.S. strike that killed 170 children at a school in southern Iran.

True.. So why does Iran still control its waters and its territory while continuing to fire missiles? Why has none of the war’s objectives been achieved? Why are you desperately begging other countries for help? Why are you asking for $200 billion to fight forces that have supposedly already been obliterated? In politics, you can manufacture truths. But in war, reality imposes itself.

@SaulStaniforth And so it begins… Eurovision countries didn’t actually get the chance to vote on Israel, despite what we were told. And so 11 countries refused to vote. Now watch the contest come apart over a country that shouldn’t have been near the contest in the first place. Nuts.
