@wmataGM how long does it take for a response to an incident filed online? I was attacked by one of your people and have yet to hear anything official.
My pedantic pet peeve of the day is that "gridlock" does not apply to highway congestion.
Gridlock specifically means when drivers 🄻🄾🄲🄺 up the street 🄶🅁🄸🄳 by blocking the box, preventing cross traffic from moving.
If there aren't cross streets, it's not gridlock.
1. At the DC Pride Parade, @Deloitte promoted its support of the LGBTQ community with its name spelled out with hundreds of rainbow balloons.
But a Popular Information investigation found that since the last election, @Deloitte donated at least 679K to anti-LGBTQ state and federal politicians.
@wmataGM@wmata I submitted a customer service issue about a verbal attack and threats by a security guard and haven’t received any response. Please advise.
This person is dangerous and should not be carrying a gun in metro.
Also concerned camera footage will expire.
@20001dc Good afternoon. It may take up to 5 business for a response from an online comment form. Can you send us a DM with the report number? We can ✔️ on this. -KB
@311DCgov reporting this DC vehicle parking in the bike lanes across from target in Columbia heights
Lots of other vehicles, too. Maybe send someone to ticket them all.
Pete Buttigieg on Fox News on EVs: "Sometimes when these debates happen, I feel like it's the early 2000s and I'm talking to people who think we can just have landline phones forever."
BREAKING: I just vetoed Republicans’ anti-LGBTQ bill to ban trans and gender nonconforming kids from participating in school sports teams that align with their gender identity.
LGBTQ kids deserve our love and respect and support just like any other kid.
@FreequentFlyr@yfreemark@samknight1 As someone who used to be served by yellow line services, i can’t see people driving because they have to wait an extra 3 minutes.
@wmataGM I used to avoid metro off peak and weekends and check arrival times if I had to ride it.
Now, I don’t even bother checking times, because I know trains come decently frequently all the time.
$2 flat fare and free bus transfers help, too
Jonah thx for highlighting that quality service is driving ridership. The fact that on weekends we are fully recovered is a sign that the all hours/all days frequent network is paying dividends.
