@HighChief84 Thank you for contacting Eventbrite. We know how concerning this is. Can you please provide your email address or your event link for us to further check?
Thanks for contacting Eventbrite. I see that you are contacting about the "BOGO," we do understand the confusion in regard to the prices and discounts of the ticket but as Eventbrite is a third party ticketing platform the organizers of the said event are the people in control of setting the prices and discounts of the tickets. We do recommend if you have further questions regarding it, we do recommend reaching out to the organizer via the "Contact Organizer" button found on the event page.
I am keeping this case open on my bucket. Please let me know if you have further clarification.
@Ticket_Help2022@BlueDotFlu Been happening for more than a few months -- got scammed like this a few years ago. @eventbrite knows it's been an issue and has done nothing to resolve.
@eventbrite using your mobile app and paying via PayPal is literally impossible. You can't enter your PayPal details because the screen jumps up and down as and when the keyboard screen comes into and out at the same time, its basically playing wackamole with my fingers 😭
@eventbrite you’re allowing this organizer to keep doing business through your website. I have requested numerous refunds and reported this page but no response. This is ridiculous!
Thank you for contacting Eventbrite. We sincerely apologize for any concern or inconvenience this situation has caused you. We want to ensure our platform remains a safe and trusted space, so we take reports like yours very seriously. Could you please provide a little more detail about why you would like to report this event? Once we have that information, we will be able to look into this thoroughly and take the appropriate next steps.
Hi @eventbrite I purchased 2 tickets for Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour through Eventbrite, but they were invalid and not accepted at entry. I’ve already reported the event and haven’t received an update. Please contact me at bhumikaramesh2407@gmail.com to review and process a refund.
@Eventbrite@EventbriteHelp Your team gave me 24 hours to update my details, but your system won't let me log in because the account is still showing as suspended! Talk about a paradox. Please lift the login block immediately so I can access the dashboard. Ticket #8742345.
@patriot_rg@eventbrite I may be able to assist with recovering assets lost during the scam process. Please send me a direct message with the details so I can review your case.
This is scandalous.
Many of us rely on @eventbrite to announce and manage our events. Now the event management and ticketing platform company is de-platforming a public discussion scheduled for 29 May.
The Belgian grassroots organisation Cry for Recognition (@cryforrecognit), which raises awareness about the impact of gender ideology and medical transitions on young people, is hosting a screening of "Generation Trans", followed by a discussion with filmmaker Jean-Pierre Roy, child and youth psychiatrist Sophie Dechêne, and Dutch clinician Roelien den Ouden, alongside Athena Forum’s Marianne Driessen.
The film, which recently premiered in Montreal, features parents describing how their children were affirmed in a gender identity by professionals and guided towards medical transition. Cry for Recognition are using Eventbrite for ticketing: eventbrite.be/e/generation-t…
A few days ago, they received this message from Eventbrite:
“We have determined that your event may not be suitable for wide distribution on the Eventbrite platform, as outlined in our Community Guidelines … your event remains live on the platform but will not be discoverable without a direct link.”
“We do not allow content or events that … disparage, discriminate against, or otherwise directly attack individuals or groups based on race, sex, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status … We also consider hate speech to include incitement, promotion, or condoning of hatred or discrimination against a person or group of people based on the same set of protected characteristics listed above.“
No explanation was given as to how this event violates those standards. Cry for Recognition appealed the decision, making clear that the event is not discriminatory in any way and asking for a proper review.
Today, Eventbrite responded:
“We have diligently reevaluated your content…” - And the outcome remains unchanged, with no indication of what exactly is supposed to be in breach.
Eventbrite is the leading self-service event ticketing and marketing platform for independent creators and mid-market events. It is hiding a film screening and discussion involving parents and clinicians that raise legitimate concerns about gender identity ideology. It is deemed unfit for “wide distribution” and hidden from public view. This is unaccountable gatekeeping of public debate and distortion of parental concern and professional dissent as hateful and discriminatory. People should pay very close attention to this.

@eventbrite@AthenaForumEU Really? You weren't happy to assist me when you removed two of my events from your site; both entirely lawful and dealing with my protected belief. But good to hear if you are now willing to abide by the laws of the jurisdictions where you operate.

@WRNNorfolk@eventbrite@AthenaForumEU@genspect Ah! My dear friends! Eventbrite. What an unpleasant blast from the past.
They also refused to sell tickets for our second 'book launch' event in Manchester. Both events were the most relaxed, interesting & non-controversial events imaginable.
But clearly a 'danger' to some!🤡

Easy enough to change that, if you really want to.
It's not the first time that EventBrite drops sex realist events (book launches, meetings etc.) at the last minute.
This used to be a 'niche topic' because the media didn't cover the problems with 'gender affirming care'. But people are waking up to it now, realising that women have lost their rights (Australia), children are being indoctrinated (eg in British education), and even that some select groups of women have suffered most (eg women with a disability, lesbians).
Time to wake up and fight back.
