@SNETCampbell @KPILLAR4 Kevin, is it ever possible to reach 1st base sooner by sliding/diving compared to just running through the base? As a couch potato viewer, I just assume running through is always quicker. That dive in bot 9 helped the Jays imo

@cullenoncurling @nicsulsky This is probably really dumb question, but is it easy to change rock handles on a stone? I always hate when watching Scotties/Brier and Team Canada throws yellow stones (they should be red!). Is it at all feasible to have 5 or 6 rock handle colours to match the team’s jerseys?

To launch that league successfully with 60 of the world’s top curlers, to bring curling back to CBC, to partner with ESPN, etc etc within just two years of acquiring the Slams is actually crazy. I really loved it and look forward to more. How did you enjoy S1?

Still coming down from a great week at Rock League but my thoughts: 1) there were some things that will need to be tweaked for next season but in my view, the two most important things are getting the format right and having the players buy in. Both of those were nailed

@thackattack41 Nobody is complaining about a 10% mark up. It’s the people who are trying to pay their mortgages by buying up Blue Jays playoff or Taylor swift tickets and reselling them with an 0 at the end of the price

Ticketmaster is the issue, not individual sellers. For example, if I want to sell my Round 1 playoff seats & simply recover my cost, I have to sell that $500 seat (my cost) for $550 because TM takes 10%. Then they charge fees to the buyer.....

It’s time to record another @RockStarsCurl podcast w @jjonescurl and we’ll be talking about the current Brier/Scotties format and qualification process. Personally, I think it’s broken in a lot of ways. What does everyone think? And if it’s broken, what are the solutions?

@blaing99 @RockStarsCurl @jjonescurl Too many terrible teams. Why can’t the brier and Scottie’s just be like the Olympic trials? Top 8 or 10 teams in Canada. Just too many teams that don’t stand a chance that shouldn’t be on tv

@blaing99 Do you think all sports should skip national and world championships during an Olympic year? I love the Scotties and Brier as much as anyone, but we already found the best teams in Canada and we just had a world championship-the Olympics! And again, not just curling

How will we know when curling has truly arrived? When powerbrokers don't sound off on socials when they see posts they don't like. Imagine Auston Matthews replying b/c someone posts the PP is weak. Or Jays GM posting b/c someone criticizes the bullpen. Comes with the territory.
