Ajike Owens’ children were playing in a field near an apartment complex when a white woman yelled racial slurs at them and said to get off her land. The children left behind an iPad which she stole. When one of the children came back to retrieve it she threw it at him and hit him with it. Owens knocked on the woman’s door and without even opening it she shot through the door, killing Ms. Owens.

Basically everyone in the west (except for a very small sliver of people) believe breasts are decorative and breastfeeding is optional. 20 years ago proponents and educators of breastfeeding and breastmilk were forced to change their language — the words optimal, best, natural had to go. “Fed is best” became the mantra. Breastfeeding mothers were given pumps and bottles, because all feeding is all equal, to say it isn’t is to judge… All parents can feed with a bottle. We are all equal holding a bottle. Bottles are freedom. Breasts are a signifier of women’s oppression and servitude to men, to their bodies, and to their babies. And so here we are, that biological unpinning of purpose, the supremacy of tech over body was the first glimpse of what was to come.

It’s wild up how women will remove their breasts which function is to feed offspring after pregnancy only to then get pregnant anyway. Why are breasts seen as inherently female but pregnancy isn’t? Even though men can have breasts but can never be pregnant. Is it because breasts are so sexualised in society that they’re symbolic of femaleness? Where’s the trans activists saying men can have breasts too instead of encouraging young women to get them removed to “become” male?
