The SSPX won't be excommunicated; the six Bishops will be. Neither the priests nor the laity who support their efforts will be excommunicated. In other words, it will be for the laity just like it has been for 50 years; their sacraments are valid and their liturgies satisfy your obligation.

Will someone enlighten me on why these political influencers dislike Massie? I know he’s against the war in Iran, which I’m not a huge fan of either, but Massie has always been anti-war. Why did the right turn on Massie?

I challenge anyone who thinks the SSPX is schismatic to do 2 things: 1. attend Mass at your local SSPX 2. go to confession there. Then repeat. Attend 3 total Masses. Then come back and tell me if you heard anything un-Catholic or quasi-catholic.
