Kids who are dependent on constant praise/attention have the biggest fear of competition, & worse, losing. Sports loses so many kids because they can’t overcome those fears. Teach kids to be independent/confident. Success doesn’t come from “feel good” awards, but from hard work!

This should be mandatory viewing for all student athletes.

In July 2020, I agreed to take over a 15u team for @CBCMarucci in summer 2021. That off-season, I found out I was going to become a father. On May 17, 2021 my twins sons were born -- nearly three months premature. And just five days later our season started with a 4-2 win.

At the Marucci World Series CBC has represented well. While 6 teams made their way down to Baton Rouge representing 3 age groups (14, 15 & 17), 4 of those teams advance to Bracket play! 14U - CBC South (NC) 15U - National, Midwest (OH) and South (NC) Good luck in Bracket Play!

The 2023 Marucci World Series bracket starts tomorrow. Both teams from the Carolinas advance in the 14u & 15u brackets. Shout out to our 15u Midwest & 15u National @CBCMarucci brothers for also making bracket play. 3 of the final 16 teams..not too shabby. #HWPO #237club
