Saved up my vgc worlds invite yesterday and I am so happy to say I will be at my 5th #PokemonWorlds after 8 years and 12 after my first one in Hawaii as I just booked ✈️ a week ago ❤️ always was a goal for me to get back there when I'm older, we've come a long way since then 🥹❤️

I won the 2026 Birmingham Regional Championship! It feels so crazy to say it. I'm so glad i was able to finally achieve one of my goals (and dreams), especially with Balance Thanks so much to the whole community, i received a lot of love, and I couldn't be more grateful for it

TPCi really needs to figure out a better system for Pokémon Center slots for EUIC, NAIC and Worlds Every time it's an absolute mess and people can't book, waste their time and it's just poor. Why they continue to use this system, I have no idea

Around this time in the early 2000’s, Pokémon was losing a lot of popularity. Printing rates for the cards were already falling due to lack in sales. Exact numbers of printed cards aren’t widely available. However, we can do some extra digging ourselves! Let’s look at some numbers for graded cards across these two sets when compared to Base Set (a time when Pokémon was much more popular). These numbers are coming directly from PSA’s site and reporting. - Skyridge has a total of 70,866 cards that have been graded at PSA (includes non-English copies). - Aquapolis has a total of 50,221 cards that have been graded at PSA (includes non-English copies). - Base Set, between all of its print runs, has over 918,000 cards that have been graded at PSA (includes non-English copies). If this isn’t selling the fact that these sets were limited in their printing, let’s break it down a bit more! For Aquapolis, Skyridge, and Base Set 1st Edition (since 1st edition is obviously one singular print run of Base Set), I took some numbers of graded cards at PSA. For each set I selected what is considered to be the “best” pull, a typical holo, and a common card of a more popular Pokémon to compare. Aquapolis PSA Population Report: - Crystal Lugia – a total of 2212 graded copies – a total of 139 PSA 10's.
- Entei Holo – a total of 765 graded copies – a total of 79 PSA 10's.
- Psyduck common – a total of 211 graded copies – a total of 50 PSA 10's. Skyridge PSA Population Report: - Crystal Charizard – a total of 1265 graded copies – a total of 243 PSA 10's.
- Alakazam Holo – a total of 685 graded copies – a total of 147 PSA 10's.
- Magikarp common – a total of 178 graded copies – a total of 77 PSA 10's. 1st Edition Base Set PSA Population Report: - Charizard Holo – a total of 4683 graded copies – a total of 125 PSA 10’s. - Gyarados Holo – a total of 2106 graded copies – a total of 89 PSA 10’s. - Pidgey common – a total of 2445 graded copies – a total of 714 PSA 10’s. So, there you have it. Numbers that are fairly comparable between the three set runs, suggesting that there was extremely limited printing of these two sets. And, as any collector knows, scarcity drives up prices.

Wizards of the Coast (WOTC) stopped printing Pokémon cards in 2003. The last sets they ever printed were Aquapolis & Skyridge.   These two are regarded as the best and most sought after sets from the WOTC era.   Here’s why that is, and what you need to know about them:
