A ridiculous rumor was going around that GTA 6 might be delayed again due to the save and load feature being completely broken and that “early versions of the game were not built with this feature in mind.”
Sources at Rockstar debunked this rumor and confirmed the game will have saving and loading as you’d expect.

A former Rockstar developer shared some interesting info in a recent interview:
- Rockstar rebuilt the entire RAGE engine for GTA 6, as the architecture of technology has advanced significantly since GTA 5
- GTA 4’s three leaf clover mission, which featured 3 character doing a heist was the core foundation for GTA 5, featuring 3 protagonists
- There are features in GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 that will be expanded into core mechanics or a plot point in GTA 6, which will surprise many
- The devs are given complete freedom with no limits on creativity
