📅 Monday morning on camp So far we’ve had a welcome brief from Gp Capt Hamilton with some fantastic Q&A from our cadets - onto a visit to the resident RAF Regiment Squadron for information on their role.

This week our OC and Trg Off - plus 3 cadets - are spending the week at @RAF_Leeming - looking forward to the updates! 👀

Oops - been a while again! 😅 Few things have taken place seen my last posts… (they were still Tweets then!) - not least taking command at @2247Hawarden!

Congrats to the newly-promoted Cdt Sgt Howells who got his third stripe a few weeks ago. His promotion follows a successful stint training new recruits and will see him with new responsibilities including the mentoring of junior NCOs. 🎉 Well done and good luck in your new role!

🚨 PROMOTION ALERT 🚨 Huge congratulations to our newly-promoted Cadet Corporals Blackhurst, Chambers, Harris and Howells who received their stripes last night! 🎉

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

Great to see a bunch of our cadets (top right) during today’s @rafwarma #winterwarma today having met @ComdtAC along the route! 9 of our cadets (plus 3 staff) all told joined others from around @2WWAirCadets for the event 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏾‍♀️

As a Squadron, we are extremely proud of FS Harrison’s achievements and look forward to hearing more about his experiences on his return from Dundee! 🎉

The flight - a circuit of Dundee Airport - was the culmination of just over a week of training with @TaysideAviation and is the pinnacle of RAF @AirCadets’ aviation training.

⭐️ F L Y I N G S O L O ✈️ Huge congratulations to Cdt FS Kristian Harrison who today completed the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme flying acholarship with a solo flight in a Aquila 211 after just 10 hours of flying training!

⏪ In the last of our run of catch-up content, we look back to just a few weeks ago when a few of our cadets went to RAF Shawbury for a day's shooting on the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle. 👏 Huge thanks to FS Beet of @1251aircadets for organising the day and having us join you!

⏪ Just a few weeks ago, we joined cadets from Sector 6 and other local units in Wrexham for Wales @ArmedForcesDay. Our cadets formed part of the parade marching through the City of which the RAF @AirCadets contingent was led by our Officer Commanding, Flt Lt Horabin.
