@Athi_Gaqa This is a well thought out and articulated response. Enkosi Athi! The question we still have is that, if our sports teams do it - is this not something that we can and should teach our “biggest” team? So when they’re on the global stage they FEEL South African in their make up?

@22Ours and this commercialisation of culture is an oddity, we have normalised. Nor do I presume to have an answer that fits perfectly into the question/answer nexus but igwijo is not specific to sports. Kwantu sicula xa sibhoyoza xa sizila & packaging as part of a brand is a choice.

ShowMax PSL / EPL Package Ends With ShowMax ❌ We can exclusively confirm that the mobile-only package which broadcast the two leagues will not carry over to Dstv or DSTV Stream. The package was one of the better performing packages on ShowMax and it is not out of the question that it may be revived on the Canal+ app at some point, but for now, users will have to get a DStv subscription.

@HlogiMoleXx Unfortunately, it's the reality of the situation. Multichoice was an incredibly patriotic (albeit self-serving patriotism) institution. That is now gone. We need to accept that and prepare for the future.
