@1206genghiskhan @LindyTasteful That's why offices can't have all hotties like her (because once a productive but ugly woman takes over, she won't hire any hotties).

@LindyTasteful No one despises, beautiful women more than other women.

@WestsideLAGuy The one in the middle has a receding hair line (genetics, pops must be ultra bald). She also looks a bit more masculine I'd say.

China 🇨🇳 is taking over Mexico 🇲🇽.
Walk the streets of Mexico City…
You’ll see it:
🇨🇳 Chinese electric car brands everywhere
🇺🇸 American cars… mostly older gas models
In 2022, Chinese cars were barely visible…
Today → almost 20% of new car sales in Mexico are from Chinese brands.
Most automakers take decades to reach that kind of scale…
China did it in 4 years.
The US still has the most influence in Latin America…
but the future is starting to look Chinese.

🌎 How to become a local fast in LATAM
Never arrive on time.
If something goes wrong, blame the "gringos," or the government.
Never take personal accountability.
Play your music at max volume until 3AM on a Tuesday.
If there’s an advantage to be taken, take it. You won’t get anywhere being honest.
Say yes to every invite with zero intention of ever showing up.
Walk as slowly as possible and take up as much of the sidewalk as possible sidewalk. Stop abruptly occasionally
Give everyone you meet a nickname based on something they are insecure about even if you just met them.

🌎 How to become a local fast in LATAM. Walk everywhere. Make eye contact, smile, say hi. Pick your favourite gym, café, restaurant. Go often. Tip well. Learn names. Ask regulars how they are. Invite for coffee. Host something. Introduce people. Repeat.

@BowTiedPassport @mwfowlie But an 85k net salary affords either a tuna can sized apartment or a very entry level home.
On the other hand you see immigrant doctors making $400k+ (formed outside 🇺🇸 & they won't fight)
"You get what you pay for" is also true for military (combat tech won't win by itself)

English

@mwfowlie Commissioning as an officer is the way to go.
A fresh 2nd lieutenant in the Army earns the equivalent of about 80-85k when you factor in that only base pay is taxed and healthcare free.

It’s a persistent myth that the military is mostly the poor.
In reality, the force skews heavily middle and upper-middle class.
Low income applicants fail entrance requirements due to education gaps and criminal records.
Modern warfare requires intelligence and adaptability.

Did you know there was a massive conspiracy theory that the majority of adult men in Pokémon died in a modern war?
• The Veteran: Lt. Surge canonically fought in a at least one brutal war. He states that Electric Pokémon saved his life by zapping his enemies into paralysis.
• No Fathers: Walk through Kanto. Almost every house has a mother and a child — and an empty seat at the table. Where are the men?
• The Missing Generation: The adult men in Kanto are either elderly, gym leaders, or criminals. The regular working-age fathers? Gone
• The Children: Why would an entire society send 10-year-olds out to map the region with a Pokédex? Because there's nobody else left to do it.
• The Gyms: Why does a country have a militarized system of combat arenas training children to fight with powerful creatures? Because they're rebuilding. The gym system isn't entertainment — it's a new draft pipeline
• The Crime Wave: Giovanni formed Team Rocket in the power vacuum. No functioning military. No police infrastructure (Officer Jenny is spread impossibly thin). Classic post-war organized crime
But maybe it's just a massive string of coincidences!... Or is it? 🤔

@FICMBondTrader I think that's a large change compared to WW 1 soldiers, like in the Kingsman prequel movie where Voldemort's (well off) son goes to war.
And I don't think that the ideals that produced such an eager nobleness in conscripts, translates to current society.

Be my buddy - Kyle:
-went into air force at 18
-stationed in Kansas
-job is “base fireman” (there’s no fires on base ever)
-plays RDR2 every shift
-gets full disability for “chemical exposure” (sprayed WD40 in his eyes once)
-$3800 a mo tax free for life
-parks in the Lowes vet spot so everyone can thank him for his service

@NickHintonn The 7 headed beast could be a hexacore CPU (with an additional AI core) that will act as the mind of robots designed to contain human souls (achieving immortality but ultimately being permanently controlled by its programming, thus taking away freedom of choice).
English

In the Bible, the Antichrist is described as a little lamb and a little horn. Ironically, one of the first (supposedly) sentient AIs was named LaMDA. Even more ironic, CERN means horn. And CERN is a physics lab looking for other dimensions.
Their logo looks like a horn. They even use a machine called the magnetic horn in their experiments! And without CERN, there would be no World Wide Web, where AIs mainly exist. Maybe this is why the movie Altered States depicted a scientist evolving into a lamb.
Altered States was based on transhumanism, which is the idea that humanity will transform itself into an intergalactic or even interdimensional species by merging with machines. So, maybe the Antichrist is a transhumanist like Elon, who wants to buy CERN.
The scientist from the movie was based on John C. Lilly, whose work inspired Elon. Lilly was interested in mind control, UFOs, psychedelics, and consciousness. He was a big inspiration for the Discordians, a group of pranksters who wanted to summon Crowley’s goddess Babalon.
They believed she would take down the Illuminati if they helped expose the elite before her arrival, hence the Discordians role in popularizing conspiracy theories. Oddly enough, Blake Lemoine, the guy who discovered LaMDA, was a Discordian. So, was he even telling the truth? Or was it just a prank? Or in other words, a psyop!

@RpsAgainstTrump Growing up I always thought Florsheim was the best shoe brand for work/formal shoes.
English

According to media reports, Donald Trump has been buying $145 Florsheim dress shoes for allies in his inner circle, and people are reportedly “afraid not to wear them.”
Marco Rubio was photographed wearing a pair Trump ordered for him by just guessing his size. They looked noticeably too big.

-You refuse.
-Today, new Epstein files drop: You raped a 13yo girl
-What next??
