Another brilliant and important win. That first half today was possibly the best 45 minutes of football i have seen for a long time. Hopper was again outstanding up top but MOTM for me today has to be beteen Taylor, Keenan and Boyes

@RutlandShrimper @CJPhillips1982 @SUFC_TheBlues It gives the club some off field revenue I guess - especially with the World Cup in the summer. A bit gutting for those that have recently been made redundant at the club….. it’s also unclear how the ‘arrangement’ with the pub is funded/shared.

@CJPhillips1982 @SUFC_TheBlues I’m not clear as to what this does , surely if money is to be spent and earned it’s better to do so at Roots Hall. What does this do for income and cash flow, will it help reduce our losses? Also adds fuel to those that moan about spending money on anything other than the team

@SUFCRootsHall Yet we can’t bring in players to strengthen the squad for the run in to the end of the season……and we make well valued staff redundant too!

On paper you’d take a point against a playoff side, but I wanted nothing but a win against these, if there’s anyone in this league I wholeheartedly hate it’s FGR. Not only did we win but we played them off the park, 2-0 flattered them massively, need to carry this momentum

Hullbridge were always going to be a test but for most of the game we were restricting them to long shots. A goal from a poorly-cleared cross, followed quickly by a Rovers red card meant it was backs to the wall. Luckily we had enough and we move to 17 league games unbeaten. 👊🏻

@299Peter Kev needs to be more pro active in terms of making changes. Why is he not assessing the situation on the pitch quicker? Ive seen Kev mention the travel to Carlisle ect but needs to remember that Gateshead had a near 6 hour trip to get to us last night. Something needs to change

So to last nights game.
Started slow first 10 mins but then dominated the first half took the lead but yet again couldnt kill the game off and concede. I saod at half time that Gateshead looked woeful down there right hand side
