I support the Alberta referendum for independence more every day.

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.

They called an emergency hearing to try to shut down the Alberta Independence petition...then turned it into a stage for conspiracy theory that's already been disproven and doesn't even try to meet the barest threshold of relevance to to their claims. This should have been dismissed on day one, not stretched into a week-long process to placate political pressure. Instead, we’re watching a pattern...amplified noise, reinforced by decisions out of B.C., and rewarded with continued federal funding for shouting louder. Enough of the theatrics. Shut down this clownshow.

I don’t think most of the chattering class understands quite how damaging floor crossers are to democracy. These floor crossings will change the outcome of the 2025 election and invalidate the democratic decision Canadians made to elect a minority government. This sends the message to voters that their vote doesn’t matter. And when we get to a place where voters feel democracy is illegitimate, we enter a very dark place.

While they were pretending to care about your rights and freedoms, floor-crossing fake-Conservative MPs were actually plotting to join the Liberals to screw Canadian voters. Let this be a lesson to all Albertans: the Conservatives are not coming to Alberta's rescue.

Liberals know they can't win another majority so they'll steal it. When a government wants to steal a majority instead of going to a general election, you know there's an underlying reason. And that's control.

You just joined the censorship party, the anti-Christian party, the undemocratic party. You're hollow; you have no moral character.

I propose that in an Independent Alberta that ALL Elected Officials MUST RESIGN and leave their Seat EMPTY, run ANOTHER Campaign and have a BY-ELECTION or ELECTION if they want to change Political Parties. NO FLOOR-CROSSERS IN ALBERTA WITHOUT A COMPLETE RESIGNATION FROM POWER

Sign the petition for Independence like your life and the life of your children and grandchildren depend on it

Why bother holding elections in Canada when the votes of thousands can become null & void by a single persons decision to change parties. The will of the people didn’t make that decision, one person did. It should be an immediate by-election.

@TheophanesRex @CPC_HQ @PierrePoilievre How would Pierre know what’s in the heart of his MP’s. What it would take for them to betray their constituents? It’s like asking the victim of a robbery to take responsibility for the actions of a robber.

Within less than 12 months of the election, @CPC_HQ @PierrePoilievre have lost 4 MPs to floor crossings & their new communications director has quit. Things seem to be seriously awry in the party. The leader needs to answer to the party’s supporters. Will he?
