They traded the 8th pick for 2 2nds… They immediately cut Marta and the other 2nd rd pick is probably 20th at best of the Storm suck. 2 straight years of not paying a 1st round salary

Roster Update: The Golden State Valkyries have waived center Mariella Fasoula, guards Ashlon Jackson, Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda, and Miela Sowah, and forwards Cate Reese and Marta Suárez.

Big issue with the Lance thing is they traded up not knowing who they wanted. Or maybe they did and got talked into another guy. So ultimately you didn’t know who you wanted to use 3 picks on. And then AFTER trading the picks and setting on who you wanted, you call Green Bay to see if Rodgers is available? Lol What?! They drafted a DLineman at 3 because the GM had class with him.. oh and by the way even after the GM and Chris Simms suggested Kyle look into Mahomes he admittedly said he didn’t watch Mahomes nor Watson. And then said Mahomes wasn’t being discussed top 5. But then said Beathard was the best QB in the class and couldn’t sleep if he didn’t get him. And drafted Williams after taking him off their board. Their process has been flawed and they’ve always done some weird stuff. It didn’t start with Lance. That’s just when people really started paying attention lol. But Kyle is a hell of a coach said it masks his bad GM decisions. I put it on him more than Lynch.

@THeINKGOD That's a huge question I actually asked myself too. Pregnon was considered a fringe 1st rounder but did drop more than a lot of analysts thought. Maybe he interviewed bad, but he was an absolute freak at USC and Oregon.

Understood, but there's a reason that even Pregnon, the best out of the group you mentioned, fell 60 MORE picks after 27. 👀👀👀👀👀👀 Plus, Niners I think felt they needed more draft capital. Couple that with VETS they've already brought in to compete at guard, and I understand.
