If a mnemonic key is lost, is there a way to regenerate a new mnemonic phrase assuming the private key is still accessible?

@gadikian I guess someone doing an airdrop could provide the coin type, and any user should be able to derive a public key by themselves. If there is special smart contract queries needed it might need an additional wallet software, but a seed phrase shouldn’t be needed ever

@2Ild2 Sir you can do lots of stuff, sometimes people ask users to do stuff that's not great and this is about that it's not about all the magical things you can do with an HD wallet.

Hi guys, I am changing a recommendation on security practices. Given what we have seen with Solana wallets, and given that all wallets are at risk of that, don't claim airdrops that require you to manipulate your seed phrase.

@gadikian Exactly, a seed phrase is just 256 bits if entropy. It should be feasable to be able to generate everything you need on your own. I would love to get your input on something I’m working on after you have nailed down the capabilites of a HD wallet
