@EngineerDustin @Henryz_mom They aren’t mutually exclusive. A mirror on my helmet or handlebars doesn’t prevent me from turning my head to look. Glance in the mirror to get an idea of what’s behind me (is that car as close as it sounds?) AND also turn my head at any time to confirm before making a move.

@Henryz_mom The mirrors might give you an edge in some situations, but, strictly speaking for myself, your head should be on a swivel if you're biking in urban settings. I'd never stake my personal safety on that little field of view.

-Protect people inexperienced in driving by encouraging them to drive larger vehicles.
