Current delivery schedules through June 1 include approximately 1,950 linear feet of 66-inch pipe, with an additional 1,000 linear feet of 72-inch pipe expected in future deliveries.

Before sliplining can begin, crews must first build a temporary bypass pumping system along with the hydraulic pushing and receiving pits needed to safely complete the rehabilitation work.

🧵 Big pipe deliveries are arriving for the Potomac Interceptor rehabilitation project along Clara Barton Parkway near the I-495 underpass. Three truck deliveries arrived this morning, with nine more expected tomorrow.

Today, we welcomed DC Water’s 2026 Summer Intern Cohort to HQO 👏 52 interns gathered for orientation as they begin a 12-week program through August 8. They’ll gain hands-on experience and learn more about the people and projects behind our work. 🙌💧
