@Bananabelly There are I think three books and a prequel. It is weird and supernatural. Might have to reread Alien Clay now 😊 I always recommend Great North Road by Peter F Hamilton for sheer world building but it’s MASSIVE.

one of the most powerful scenes in #projecthailmary for me is probably the scene where grace kept saying he made peace with it (dying in space) and rocky hearing about it and refusing to accept that, then giving him a solution to go home. sacrificing 6 years of time just so grace won't ever have to die like his crew. what's 6 years of time to lose when you've been in there for more than 40 years? then we see grace's barrier breaks because he never really made peace with it. it's fucking scary. he never chose it in the first place and he had to live with that. then rocky gave him that choice (to go home) and he finally had hope. yet in the end, between choosing to go home to resume the life he had. he chose rocky and built a new life with them. man i'm gonna be thinking about this film for a long time.

I have lost my keys inside my car. Not locked, LOST. To clarify: My car turned on. My car will only turn on if the keys are inside of it. So they must be in the car. Yet I cannot find my keys. My car is not messy. There is very little in it. I’ve looked everywhere. And yet, the keys are nowhere to be found. But they have to be here. Hence, I have lost my keys in my car. What … and I cannot stress this enough … the f*ck?

I've noticed amongst friends who have little kids that they are basically forced into waking up when they do. When I was little I remember v clearly knowing that we shouldn't go and wake parents until at least 9am on a weekend, and generally entertaining ourselves in the morning

@AxelTalksFilm I want them to release a version where Rocky calls out to Ryland (“Grace?!?”) when he goes back to the Blip A to help him. It was one of the most emotional parts for me.
