This is misleading. The framing makes it sound like the dealer is purposefully facilitating illegal sales, and a gun from such a sale was used to kill a police officer.
In fact, that gun was sold because the buyer lied (it was a straw purchase), and gave the gun she purchased to her scumbag prohibited person boyfriend. There is no evidence in the article that the dealer did anything wrong as to that sale, and they have not been charged with anything in connection to it.
It looks like the dealer did make some other errors, including a single mistaken sale to a prohibited person. But they acknowledged the error and moved to correct their process, and ATF did not shut them down, even though this was under the Biden era and "zero tolerance."
So unlike the Turner's hit piece, there is a little bit more "meat" on the bone here, given this dealer has made some errors. (With Turner's there is nothing like that). But it's still ultimately trying to beat up on a large gun retailer for rare errors to try to run them out of business.
