found this gem in my files: my dad’s VA claims approval for “back strain.” $33 a month. 🤣 He actually BROKE his back landing on a truck parked in an LZ at Fort Bragg (windy day, 2 other soldiers died) and spent three months in the hospital. His CO thought he’d never walk again.

This morning I spent two hours doing PD for my colleagues on academic conversations. Now I’m spending four or five hours playing harp in the pit for the high school musical. What a life I get to live!
