Can anyone explain? These are the types of event we could hold at our ground from Monday - with NO coronavirus legislation-related limit on numbers. But we can’t have (let’s say 200) spectators for a football match? @DCMS @OliverDowden @mark4dewsbury any ideas?

@ColinWheelwrig2 @community_hfc @Ollie_Bayliss It’s 2 separate venues... with 2 sets of guidelines.... the fact that they are side by side is irrelevant....

@Ollie_Bayliss It’s absolutely mental, we are on private land almost within the boundary of a public park but because our ground has a fence and a gate we can’t have supporters? We can however allow people in to buy drinks and take them outside, so long as they don’t watch the match 👌

@Ollie_Bayliss Dear Ollie, I'm sure you've studied the HMG guidance on GOV.UK following the announcement of the Roadmap. I've studied it & don't believe the @DCMS is correct that spectators at grassroots football is only allowed from 17 May.
