Microsoft is changing a Windows kernel policy that's been around for decades. Starting in April 2026, Windows will stop trusting certain old kernel drivers by default. These drivers were signed using a legacy system from the early 2000s that Microsoft retired in 2021. From now on, the Windows kernel will only accept drivers that are properly signed through the modern Windows Hardware Compatibility Program. Microsoft has also created a special list that will still allow some trusted older drivers to work.

The biggest reason why I got bored of mayhem is being hostaged 20+ minutes in games where enemy team is farming you on loop. This is unfun as shit and 99% lost. If you want to make up random rules, install a single-player game and stop telling other people how they should play.
