A mixed gender team (which the ncaa does allow) is not allowed to compete at single gender events. Ie banned from ncaa events like qualifiers and championships.

@stevendeeley @JenniferSey AFAIK, the NCAA doesn’t allow men to compete on women’s teams. But in an exception that swallows the rule, it allows athletes to compete based on the sex listed on their birth certificates. CA is among 40-plus states that allow people change their sex on their birth certificates.

We made this a year ago. It’s still happening. But this year he’s winning all 3 jumping events. I’m dying to know which UC gave him an athletic scholarship on their women’s track team.
