@banzai_Kh one of the first pakistani friends i made in public school was this ahmadi girl and she was telling me how people would burn down their masajid in pakistan i went home and told my parents bc i felt bad, to which they explained how shes not even Muslim 😭

ʿAbd al-Ghanī an-Nāblusī (رحمه الله) said: "Striving against the nafs is a form of ʿibādah. Only those who have knowledge acquire this. However, it is an obligation upon every Muslim." 📖 - Sharḥ aṭ-Ṭarīqah al-Muḥammadiyyah

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

Imam as-Sa'di رحمه الله said; "Do not imagine that you will get poor if you marry. Allah incites towards marriage and promises richness after poverty." [Taysir-ul-Karim, p. 567]

lt was narrated from Abu Tameem that he heard `Umar bin al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) say: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: “If you truly put your trust in Allah, He provide for you as He provides for the birds: they go out with empty stomachs and come back with full stomachs.” [Musnad Ahmad]

Ibn Baṭṭah quoted this ḥadīth in one of the chapters refuting the Jahmiyyah.

In Dīn al-Islām, goodness is not only measured by what we actively do, but also by what we choose to withhold. The Holy Prophet ﷺ taught that a believer Muʾmin is one from whose tongue and hands others are safe.
