China's 18-year-old males are now the same height as American 18-year-olds. Let that sentence sit for a moment. In 1985, the average Chinese boy was measurably shorter. Not marginally: substantially. The gap was the kind you could see in a crowd, feel at a doorframe, read in a population chart without squinting. Between 1985 and 2019, Chinese men experienced the largest height increase of any nation studied. Boys aged 7 to 18 grew an average of 7.6 centimetres in three decades. What happened in China between 1985 and 2019? Economic reforms. Rapid urbanisation. And a diet that shifted, quite deliberately and measurably, toward more animal protein. More meat. More dairy. More eggs. The traditional diet was rice-dominant: and rice protein, it turns out, is negatively correlated with height across populations. When Chinese families got wealthier, they bought steak. Their children grew. This isn't a coincidence. It's a controlled experiment that 1.4 billion people ran on themselves over thirty-five years. And their children are now eye-level with Americans.

The church is the body of believers from whom God has commanded Christians to marry from. Church services are times of worship, fellowship, and edification and is quite literally the best place to find like minded and faithful people eligible for marriage…so you’re just wrong. During the sermon isn’t the time, nor during times of praise either. So you do need to pick an appropriate to be looking.

Church isn’t for dating though. If I got asked out at church, I’d probably change churches, if not Diocese. How people can have so little shame or such desperation eludes me.

Gonna be serious for a minute. Tomorrow, my whole family is going to church. 5 weeks after I went alone. The second week, my wife went. The 3rd week? My son and daughter. 4th week was their Spring Break and we were traveling. 5th week? Wife, son, daughter, and son's girlfriend are going. 5 weeks. Whole house has changed. What would have happened if my feelings from week one had pushed me away? Because it almost did. Week 1, I looked around the room. People celebrating and rejoicing. I felt so ashamed. So dirty. All these people shining and so pretty in faith. I looked at my hands and nails, dirty and stained from work. So I kept them in my pockets. I didn't have a Bible that first week.... but they were all reading theirs. I didn't know the songs.... but they all sang along. I'm standing there with demons on my shoulders telling me I'm not worthy. Telling me I would never be lovely like those folks.... I wanted to leave.... but Gavin was there with me, standing beside me watching his boss struggle with it all. Him and his dad thanked me for coming and told me they were proud of me. That was week 1. I heard a preacher online say " The closer you get to God, the dirtier you will feel. When you are under his divine light, all your flaws will show." Mine sure did. Week 2, a miracle happened for me and I turned it all over for him. Week 3 I was baptized. Week 4 we missed service from traveling. Week 5 is here. And here is the message... I'll be attending Victory Baptist Church in the morning at 10am. Service is at 11. If you are lost and feeling like you don't belong. Like you will be judged. Like your hands are dirty or maybe your soul... Come sit with me and mine. Come join us and we will learn together. I don't know what I am doing either and I am 6 weeks past time for a haircut. I won't ever be pretty in my faith, but I'll be in faith regardless. I don't care how lost you are or where you are in life. You are welcome to come sit with me if you got no one else. I can't teach you the Bible... that's gonna be their job.... but I can sure be the one standing beside you telling you them demons aren't gonna win today. So it's an open invitation. If you've got nowhere else to go, come with me. We'll learn together. Have a great night. Bo.

Lost my wallet bout 10 years ago, looked everywhere and couldn't find it, went through the rigmarole of replacing literally everything in it. A few months later I was lamenting to my wife about having lost my wallet in front of my 7 year old daughter, but this time I notice a look of deviousness on her face and ask her if she knew where my wallet was. She disappears for a minute and returns with my wallet and all its contents fully intact! When asked about why she took it, she said she thought it would be funny...all I could do was laugh.😅🤦‍♂️ Praise the Lord you found yours.

My wallet has been lost for days. I’ve legit searched everywhere. I have been super stressed about it. I stopped today and prayed that God would help me find it. I found it literally 30 seconds later. Praise God.
