My father met with accident on 7th march and admitted in emergency at Manipal hospital, Baner-Pune under Dr.Amit Dhakoji Neurosurgeon due to head injury. Father was conscious and admitted by walk in. With first diagnosis of brain CT scan emergency ward Doctor feels that there were fractures in skul and neck but it will not be life threatening and as per initial discussion with Dr.Dhakoji and he suggested for admission in wardroom but when they came to know that father was having health insurance he started insisting for ICU. There is contradiction in his own statement within span of 10mins. First 3days they had not done any specific diagnosis and even Dr.Dhakoji didn’t thought to do MRI or CSF by looking seriousness of patient. They just believing on CT brain gave normal treatment nothing else for first 3days and he was telling there was irritation because of wound and it will heal with treatment. On 3rd day father was not awake and it was Dr.Dhakoji's holiday and his assistant told me because of medicine he was in drowsiness in morning but when he visisted again in evening and patient is in drowsiness then He felt the seriousness and shifted to ICU.Till that time they had given normal antibiotic treatment to heal wound only nothing else. on 4th day after CSF test reveals a severe brain infection, indicating a potential lapse in timely diagnosis. Does this infection in brain happen overnight? Dr. Dhakoji's confident yet dismissive attitude towards the curability of the infection, He told we have used bramhastra of antibiotics. We again feel relax it will cure father. Still they were given treatment with normal injectable. No expediate in treatment. There was no progress till 7th days. Father was doing self-breathing till that time. 7th Day after incident they feel to do MRI. The delayed MRI results in the discovery of pus in the brain, Dr. suggested to do surgery we agreed with him. Does pus in brain was generated in 2-3 days? First 8 days when patient was without ventilator Dr.Dhakoji has not done anything for speedy recovery. When there was rare chance of recovery he started expediate his treatment. Dr.Amit Dhakoji's casual approach, medical negligence, delayed diagnosis and delayed treatment was main reason for death of my Father. While discussing with Dr.Dhakoji , He told with attitude this is just one case out of 100 and so on. Why don't he think Every human life is important and everyone deserved the right treatment. There is no life-threatening symptoms on 1st day conversation with Dr. Dhakoji, even on 4th day he is confident that why infection will not be curable? on 8th day he told after this small surgery infection recovery will be fast. After 10 days when situation of father was not improved, and he didn't see progress then his statement like we are also human? What is meaning in that. Why did you take this case much casually? Your casual attitude, negligence cost life of my Father. This Manipal hospital is not much concern about the life of person they just do the things in such a way that person will stay in hospital for more days. This is corporate hospital to loot people. Per day 80k-85k cost for antibiotic treatment and could anyone explain what LUXURY TREATMEN given at 85-90k cost per day at hospital when patient is in coma? Only active member in this hospital is person who is giving estimation of treatment for next 2 days one day Doctor will not meet you, but insurance/billing person will contact you without fail. This hospital had made the huge bill at least should take care so that patient should return home a live. They know that common people will do anything for their patient to take back home a live and hospitals were playing with emotions of people. My father who was conscious and responsive while admission after 14days in hospital he was fighting for self-breath after 12.5lakh what hospital had return us? There is no back up of doctor in case of absence of anyone. Nursing staff in wardroom was not available at their place when required. If you see the reviews of different patient joined in emergency at Manipal hospital Baner has worst experience of life. This hospital is much care about the luxury show off, but no one came hospital for hospitality experience, but hospital management FORGOT PEOPLE COMING FOR TREATMENT ONLY. Even If you have Health insurance in that case also this hospital will make such bill that family has to pay more money from Pocket. My sincere advice to Manipal Management change your tag line from "Life's On" to "Life's Off" that really describe your real characteristic. Stop playing with emotion of common people. If there is review rating less than 0 then that would be right rating for this hospital. Here is highlight of some non-consumable cost used for Father. We want to shift my father to other hospital after 14days from Manipal hospital I haven't gone through details of bill due to urgency of patient movement. When I just gone through each detail, I came to know that how they had charged and looted in each and every way. 1.From insurance company it is clearly mentioned: Excess of Tariff rates - not to be collected from the patient: 31334 still they have taken this amount from us. 2.BLANKET/WARMER BLANKET:-3120.00,GOWN:-5709.00 : which type of costly and branded gown they have given to patient. 3.CREAM POWDER LOTION:-29168.00 +86786.00 =115,954 Rs Cream powder lotion usually used to clean the patient when he could not be able to take bath. Could you please imagine for 14days of hospitalization they had charged 1,15,954Rs for lotion which means 8282Rs for 1 day cleaning which is costlier than any luxury spa. 4.WET WIPES:-15189.00: For 1 day they had used 1084Rs wet wipes even if one wet wipes pack cost 250Rs then does unconscious patient need 4 packs of wet wipes per day? 5.Gloves 25383Rs: Means per day they used 1813 Rs gloves means around 9-10 boxes of gloves. Are they really used? 6.As per this luxury hotel and worst treatment they have charged more for icu nursing charges and icu charges which I didn't understand. 7.Admission charges:66544Rs without any base they had charged for 14 days when patient is unconscious family and patient enjoyed their luxury facility at cost of 66k around. I had attached screenshot with post This is worst hospital in terms of treatment and for costing perspective. So, think many times before admitting here. @CMOMaharashtra @Devendra_Office @mieknathshinde @nitin_gadkari @myogiadityanath @AjitPawarSpeaks @irdaindia @MoHFW_INDIA @DeptHealthRes @BJP4India @BJPMaha @ManipalCigna @NationalIns @Niva_Bupa @ICICILombard @ACKOIndia @LICIndiaForever @BajajAllianz @AdityaBirlaGrp @health @HealthM Please look into Manipal hospital group as this is less of hospital and more of hotel, treatment and cost of each patient thoroughly to avoid negligence, life and loot of common people. @manipal_global @ManipalHealth please show some humanity towards patient and relatives. STOP playing with emotions of common people.

Unpopular Opinion Doing active investment is stupid. Especially in your early career. At best a distraction. Invest that time in your career, you’ll get bigger returns. My Funda: Let experts handle your investment. While, you become an expert in your field to earn more. 1/

Note to self: never push to production without running the tests, even if it is a one line change. "This time is different" usually never is.

Each medal costs the UK £5.5 million. That's the sort of investment needed. Let's not expect much until we put systems in place at home.
