@ManipalHealth varthur radiology dept is a joke. There is no transparency .. no token system visible.. patient has to just wait until they call your name. In between many VIP executive health check ups will happen but a common patient has to wait

@ManipalHealth Horrible experience at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road (Bengaluru) One of my family members was admitted in critical condition, and what we experienced over the last 6 days was extremely disappointing and concerning. 1. Delay in shifting from day care to ward (single room) Even after repeated requests, the patient was not shifted on time though day care was already supposed to end. The patient was in critical condition, but instead of prioritizing admission and stabilization, we were asked to complete admission formalities first. The entire process took nearly 2 hours, while the patient was left alone in day care. 2. Poor nursing and housekeeping accountability Despite paying premium charges for a single room, there was almost no proactive monitoring from the nursing or housekeeping staff. Nobody regularly checked on the patient or followed up on the condition. 3. Lack of trained nursing support The wound dressing process was unclear, and many nurses on the 6th floor appeared inexperienced and unsure about procedures. Even the fluid control machine was reportedly not functioning properly, and fluids were being managed manually without confidence or clarity. 4. Medication and fluid mismanagement Two fluids/medications were supposed to be administered sequentially, but the second one was not available on time. No one took ownership or responsibility for the delay. 5. No response from escalation team Even after contacting the escalation matrix and speaking with the regional head from patient experience, there was no callback or follow-up. This is not the level of care expected from a reputed hospital where patients and families trust the system during critical times. Healthcare is not just about infrastructure or premium rooms — accountability, responsiveness, and patient care matter the most.

@ManipalHealth we had a wierd experience at Manipal, Ranchi. We went to emergency after my Mom complained of shooting abdomen pain. Emergency staff was adamant on getting her admitted in normal ward without any emergency doctor consultation
