@rowandean That's a shame the Liberals dumped her. She was a big asset, to the Labor Party. It's not every day a politician sues the leader of her own party. Disunity is death, someone forgot to tell her that.

Final act: Moira Deeming joins One Nation and runs for the same seat and wins it
6 News Australia@6NewsAU
#BREAKING 🚨 Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming has lost preselection for the Western Metropolitan Region, with moderate-backed Dinesh Gourisetty defeating her for the upper house seat's top spot at the upcoming state election

@SaiKate108 And Australia will continue to use gas under net zero. 36% of Australian's energy needs come from renewable energy. 91%?
English

Senator Leah Blyth with some inconvenient truths.
‘Net zero is just a lie.’
The world runs on fossil fuels - and 91% of Australia’s primary energy comes from them.
Billions that should have strengthened our energy security wasted on unreliable fantasy renewable projects.
Now the chickens have come home to roost !!
Time to ditch the madness and secure real affordable energy.

@Standup_global @AlboMP Albanese was democratically elected. Landslide 94 seat. We have a stable government, compared to what happening in the rest of the world. It's just that some political parties like to tell us differently like ONP. Protectionism the good old days was a burden to taxpayers.

Andrew Hastie has blasted President Trump for starting a war with no end date or clear strategic objective.
Hastie, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, said voters needed reminding that One Nation is a strong supporter of the war against Iran, a point Pauline Hanson reaffirmed again on Wednesday.
Hastie declined to support the war and opposed any suggestion that Australian personnel should be sent to help clean up the mess.
“President Trump thought he could go in and win the war in a week. And right now, Iran has the world economy held to ransom."
“I’m not going to send young Australians to die in a conflict that we don’t know an end state to, and there’s no clear strategic objective.”

English

@OMGTheMess I wonder what would be the cost per litre to extract that oil. It might end up being liquid gold, so expensive that people can't afford it. I look forward to seeing your cost analysis.

Niki Savva is spot on. Andrew Hastie is the only one who has tried to distance the Liberal party from Pauline Hanson's ON. The rest of em' don't have a spine in my opinion.
Hastie is playing his cards very wisely, he'll be leader of the Liberal Party one day.

@GreenTyler27 Obviously Mr Green has a crystal ball and could see Donald Trump starting a war. (Trump told the American people he would not start a war) Perhaps Mr Green could have let the government know in advance. Easy to criticise when you are just a spectator.
English

@RobbieBarwick Weapons of mass destruction, regime change. Geewhiz I think I've heard that one before. At the end of the day America get involves in conflict they suddenly realise they have no exit ramp for. They never learn, but that's what happens when you have arrogance in the White House.

Every single word out of this bloodthirsty warmonger's mouth is a lie.
Put Greg Sheridan on top of the list of Australians to blame for the soaring fuel prices and dangerous shortages smashing Australians and destroying our food security. #insiders

The elephant in the room, Australia, is not self-sufficient.
Our Canberra-based politicians have failed this nation.
Drill baby drill.

@AussieVal10 Are they nuts, One Nation is not a friend of the Liberal party. John Howard realise that. Once again the Victorian liberals make a ridiculous decision. Do a preference deal Victorian liberals, put One Nation last.

@Standup_global @JacquieDundee "Take out country back" problem is we have a tiny population. Australia is an export country. We don't have the capital to invest in large projects, that's why we buy oil cheaply from Asia. Otherwise Australian motorist would be paying a small fortune to drive a motor vehicle.
English

🔥@JacquieDundee says "we need to reopen the refineries, Australia we need to take this country back."
English

@Standup_global @JacquieDundee Open refineries, sounds easy. The only problem we need crude oil & Australia doesn't produce anywhere near enough. We need oil wells, which means we need foreign oil companies prepared to take the risk and invest billions of dollars in exploration. Unlikely.
English

@ellymelly Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Bringing harsh fuel rationing & travel restrictions on community, government accused of being draconian. Wait & see, hopefully war will end soon as Trump keeps telling the world. Easy to criticise when you don't have any responsibility.
English

@nick_coatsworth Some countries are negotiating safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz with the Iran regime. Paying 2 million bucks per tank, people in Australia are demanding Albanese does more, perhaps this is a process worth considering.
English

@nick_coatsworth Albanese doesn't possess a crystal ball, nor did he instigate the war in the Middle East, nor did encourage Jewish genocidal Netanyahu to kill thousands in Palestine causing Muslims to become angry. It's easy to criticise if you don't have to make decisions affecting millions.
