Any aesthetic goes through a cycle: uniqueness → popularity → oversaturation → loss of meaning. The internet only accelerates this process (algorithms, trends, mass replication). People choose to simplify, repeat, and commercialize that’s what ultimately breaks the original idea.

I’ll be expanding my small collection into more 1/1s this year, both on @SuperRare and @objktcom. I started collecting with the intent of understanding the collector’s mindset as an artist. But the exercise evolved into acquiring nearly 700 works across five different chains. A big part of the collection consists of editions, but 1/1s give a true sense of complete ownership. Supporting artists is a privilege.
