@DyerbolicalDB I remember if the leather top was smooth from a lot of use. When you leep frogged over it, your hands slid across it and you crashed out the other side! Good fun hiding inside it though after it was put away in the PE cupboard!

I sh1t u not We had to jump over this monstrosity Like a leap frog u ran up put two hands on and did the splits whilst jumping over it. Half of PE was getting equipment out, putting equipment away and avoiding group showers that stank of mould. The other half was dreading your turn.

@GMCSouthLondon @TheRealJamieKay Pretty much this. They only had 4 border police working with lots of travellers to deal with. Most of the travelers were late queuing adding to the problem. When I finally got my passport checked it took forever because the system crashed and they had to reboot

@TheRealJamieKay Maybe, I’d wager though this is more to do with either an inefficient system, poor planning or slow adoption of the EU EES system at Berlin rather than anything sinister, like a punishment beating for the UK. EU citizens have been able to use e-gates at UK airports since 2008.

I can now confirm the EU entry-exit system in Berlin is a total farce. Automatic kiosks not working, all registrations being conducted manually, with only two border police desks open. Been queuing for 40 mins and hardly moved. EU passport lane completely clear.

@TheRealJamieKay I'm calling BS. I came through Berlin airport last night. All kiosks work. The EU entry lane was clear because there were less EU citizens to pass. However they had to join the same queue as non EU citizens at passport control. Border control was limited because of staff shortage
