Ridiculous that we're discussing whether or not developers who can't code in raw binary should be allowed into the industry. I spent my first few years in university learning how to code in binary, and it would be an insult to myself and people like me to drop this requirement.

@ID_AA_Carmack Im one of the oldies still doing real-time 3d in television. Harder work to keep up though and building the same tools as 20 years ago. Sometimes you feel it might be easier in Pascal.

So, 50 years old now. I am down a point of Str and Dex from my younger days, but I'm a more capable engineer than ever. I'm noticing more people in their 70s that seem sharp and spry, so I'm looking forward to at least a couple more decades of relevance.

The Netflix "ta-dum" soundmark is one of the all time greats, but doesn't work as well in a theater because it's only 3 seconds long. So Netflix commissioned Hans Zimmer to extend it for theaters and ... it's ... so ... good.
